The resorts ride times site has been launched today and can be found here. Much like on the app this requires to know your location and will only show you ride time whilst at the resort.

It has been confirmed by Thorpe Park, via email, that Stealth will not be open for their Summer Night.

That's a pity, it was not working last time I visited, i was rather hoping it would be fixed by then, you never know, it still might be, I suppose if there not sure then they have already covered themselves.

It a shame as Corey really wanted to do it again but it's just one of them things. Did you see the offer on the email in the DBGT shop 50% off a mug and cube puzzle hopefully it's the small blue mug not the black one as I have that one.

Or we might all just feel a little bit mugged because the park will be rammed!

Very likely. I hope it is not busy though!

I wonder how busy Chessington was today?

A few years ago we turned up nice and early to Thorpe but it soon filled to capacity, so we bailed to Chessington for the afternoon, it was much quieter, Dragons fury is actually very good, better than Spinball.

Chessington once and Thorpe twice, all in one day? Could be!

I went to thorpe yesterday when stealth was closed, i heard a management team member say stealth will be shut for a month, also samuri opened from its long period of bieng shut and then they close it again saying the ride was making strange noises, does this mean the end of samuri?

I tried this out today. It works well (when I remember it is there) and managed to grab a few screenshots before I closed it down.

Stealth had barriers around it, with staff standing outside of the entrance, so it looks like it will be out of action for a long time.

Some of the group managed to get on it last night, but it was down during the day. It was operational today as well :)

Abysmal day at the park. Stealth obviously closed, DBGT closed, Colossus was closed for the latter half of the day, Nemesis Inferno ran for about 1 hour, SAW closed towards the end of the day and so did The Swarm (on a smaller scale Flying Fish was also closed all day). Free return tickets have been openly advertised to everyone as people started leaving.

Hope it's better operations tomorrow (Monday) because I'm heading down. It seems like thorpe park haven't been doing very well recently with regards to operations. They seriously need to sort it out considering they are offering free return tickets and therefore losing money. Besides this, those with annual passes have had a wasted day out with no compensation as they can enter with no admission anyway. Being at the peak of summer doesn't help the matter either.

Well they're still taking individual cases into account. We were also personally offered some priority/fastrack passes as compensation for my friend having come from Scotland. I think they were prepared to compensate for other issues such as hotel and travel for individual cases like I imagine they would for annual pass holders.
I think they issued a warning on social media if I recall saying this week coming up is going to be super busy. I pray they at least sort the staffing out. I don't know when they decided to stop hiring people to assign people to rows but it seems to happen on all of my visits and it comes across poorly to the public as people clamour to the rows they want and end up causing issues with empty/half-filled rows.
... A n y w a y....... I hope your visit was more enjoyable than mine.
