Re: New for 2015 - I'm a Celebrity! Maze

Is it managing to survive school holidays o far, how long have the queues been, has it had many teething problems yet?

I like this experience, just a bit of a waste of queue times (60 mins) Overall 7/10

It can barley manage with 10 people... I do believe they have managed to improve the experience since it first opened but its still a massive waste of money. Most reviews have been that they wouldn't wait 5 minutes for it. Should have spent the money on retheming the rumba rapids than spending money on what ever they are trying to claim this "attraction" (a very broad use of the term) as.

I liked it, however I feel there are some timing issues to sort out as it feels extremely rushed. I would not queue more than 15 minutes for this because although it is fun, it isn't amazing. The theming on the other hand is absolutely fantastic! As are the actors! Overall I give this 5/10. (And I feel sorry for the people queuing 75 minutes yesterday!!!)

I think that they should sort of the sound in there as if you're at the back of the group you can't easily here the actors and you can only here jungle sounds... Merlin have got Jungles theming great, just need sort out the sound or equip the actors with a microphone!!

I think attractions like these where actors and the like are a key part of experience, will always take a while to reach its full potential. They always require some re-thinking and resequencing to get it just right; the same goes for Nemesis:Sub Terra!

I agree, but i also think that if it keeps changing, it keeps things fresh and makes each visit slightly different. I know there is a lot of people who don't enjoy it and think it was a waste of time and space, but i personally think its something very different for Thorpe Park and it is a nice to see an attraction where themeing has actually been used.

I'm in the camp of someone who didn't enjoy it although the best part of it is the theming. I did like the attention to detail with the jungle foliage etc but with regard to the rest, it isn't particularly good to be honest.

I'm A Celebrity often reaches an hour or more, especially in the six weeks. Fright Nights I would expect at least two hours, and off peak between 25-45 minutes due to the low throughput.

Fast track is yet to be added to IAC, this is something they may introduce for FN.

Doesn't seem to have been mentioned here yet, but people on Thorpe's Twitter have commented on the new ending which no longer uses the Celebrity Cyclone or slide into the shop, instead guests exit into the shop via a fire exit. This is reportedly due to guest feedback.

When I went in the maze for the first time with my dad and boyfriend the other week we were all quite surprised that we simply just were told to exit through the fire doors; I assumed this was just a one off because of some kind of technical problem in the last part. I found it quite disappointing really, especially if thats how they're planning to keep it.

Oh Thorpe Park what have you done. Negative customer feedback is something that they should look at, and either improve upon or ensure it is eventually sorted. Rather than removing a whole section (if it is permanent), they need to make it better. Now I would put money on the fact customer feedback with be worse than before with the lack of the ending scene. Very disappointing Thorpe Park, I expected better.

I could be very wrong here, but I thought I saw an image of the slide actually being cordened off because it was broken. I could be wrong though.

But if it is because of guest feedback, I'm shocked. I mean, who in their right mind would complain about editing something in a slide.

Reading on other forums, it seems someone rather large hit their head whilst running up the Cyclone, I don't know where it came from originally, but they must've been giant!

Theme Park Guide have reported that IAC is closed for the next two days due to essential maintenance. I expect this is related to the finale.

I really don't know what to say about this 'attraction'

Not really what I expected, Had a naff ending?! (through some inflated wall things??)

felt very rushed.. probably due to the queue which was about 45 mins.

I just cannot see it lasting, you've done it once so why bother again?

Although as others have said the actors were really good, can tell they are trying hard, but personally I wont be bothering with it again.

Hi, I'm going to thorpe park for the next 2 days and my mate really wants to go on this whereas I'm not so excited. I don't like mazes. I didn't like subterra before the update with the walk through at the end. Can anyone tell me if it's not really that bad?

And yes I know it's a family attraction but still I don't like mazes like these but still wanna try it out
