That mockup was made by Patrick Crowne AKA TheCodeMaster when he was with the VTO team. The landscape model is ours.

Don't know if you've been on park recently PhNx but you can see the landscape of this attraction is all sorts of heights. You can see they've had to go down somewhat to achieve what they want. This is a very early mockup based on plans someone created probably the Nemesis guy and is mostly accurate but yes I believe it will be a very nippy coaster going around the track.

I haven't been there myself yet :'( but I will be sometime soon.. and yeah Nemesis94 does the remakes.. waiting for his more accurate version of SW8.. since his Smiler remake was amazing!

We have received a transmission from MI7 containing a number of exclusive images of SW8. TowersTimes News has examined his latest images which show the latest progress on the lift hill as well as a unique view of the station and maintenance buildings.

Great update! After all this time I was actually wondering if we would ever get another MI7 update! Worth the wait though!

This whole construction is surprising me. They are really cracking on with it. I dont think i've ever seen a UK Merlin coaster be constructed so quickly. Has Merlin been taken over by any chance :lol At the rate they are going I would imagine they will have the majority of it built by the end of the year, if not all of it.

Pleasure Beach Experience have also posted a photo on Facebook which shows further bents that have gone up today, and what will presumably be the start of a tunnel.

This is moving surprisingly quickly now its great, I cant wait to see the rest of layout unfold. I'm oddly eager to what the banking angles are like.

It's certainly flying up!

I do like that it's easy to see the construction site as it's providing us with updates on an almost daily basis.

Looking forward to see how it's progressed when I next visit in August.

Thanks for posting, BigAlan. It is good to see the construction from various angles.

As Dan says, I look forward to seeing the site on my next visit!

Very exciting to see the initial lift structure up, can't wait to see the rest of it finished as well as the rest of the ride as I firmly believe it will be near completion by the Fireworks event :)

Wow, it certainly is going up quickly and I agree with Dan in that the construction being easy to see with the viewing windows makes a change!

I don't know why but to me the first picture looks like SW8 is standing proudly, maybe it's the angle or I'm just weird, but it looks great...

I'm astounded at the speed this is flying up! I visited just a couple of weeks ago before there was any lift hill. I agree I think we should see track completion by Scarefest/fireworks :)
