| The certainly looks better than before! I bet Alton managed to squeeze a refurb deal of the ride out of sega too and looks like that has happened! Just lets hope the upkeep stays in tip top form!

| Yeah, it isn't the most overwhelming re-theme ever, but an improvement nevertheless.
Would like to have seen some full size statues of other characters around and within the ride area, and the music was very quiet aswell.
Nice to hear the good old sound effect when Sonic collects a ring though, but more could have been done.

So basically what we have had here is a very good re-furb. There is no denying the coaster does look better now its been painted and its good to hear it is running well. At the end of the day at least Spinball's had a good paint, and I think therefore it's two thumbs up for next years "Legend of Zelda: A dive to Oblivion".

| Wii, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360? Wow... is all of that entertainment really necessary when you have a theme park, a water park and crazy golf right in one place?!

Is there 1 car where the car casing is now painted blue? As on all of the marketing material for it, the car is blue. Sorry if this has been pointed out

| Im surprised they repainted spinball with rollers, would it not be easier to use static spray painting? I seem to remember this from GCSE, thats how they paint huge steel structures quickly. They just need to mask off the top of the supports...
Anyone else know about this?

Anyone else know about this? They might of missed a bit less with a spray In fairness though I think spray is only really viable in the factory? If the wind picked up there would be blue paint EVERYWHERE... ! I saw loads of turqouise anyway, but then I think I was being over picky and looking for it! Although there is a support with a completely different shade of blue on it and it stands out like a sore thumb.

| Looking very fresh. This is exactly the sort of treatment all the Coasters deserve from time to time.
It merely serves to exaggerate the laziness in leaving Oblivion and X-Sector in the state it's in though. Black paint and concrete washdown plz! (Though, perhaps their refusal to do anything there means something is planned for X-Sector in the near future?)
