Exciting News: Community Advocates
Traditionally during the closed season, as I am sure many of our veteran members are aware, we hold an informal 'end of season awards ceremony' to both reward and thank our members for the previous year's contributions. However before the excitement of the awards, and to help celebrate the launch of our new look forum for 2014, we're excited to announce a new rewarding system for our members - Community Advocates. As our forum community continues to grow, expand and diversify, we've previously looked towards our members to help us create a unique, friendly and fantabulous place that allows people to come together to discuss their favourite UK theme parks. These Community Advocates will help continue to shape and mould the exciting future of the forum.
Community Advocates will be members who have been seen to make a sustained, positive contribution to the TowersTimes and SouthParks community and will be expected to continue to uphold the values that we have put in place. We must stress that this is not a team position, but an elevated version of our previous 'silver status member' that allows us to reward those members who have continually shown a commitment to a certain aspect of the community. Our Community Advocates will welcome new members and assist with any initial questions they may have, and will be involved in smaller community based tasks.
Please join me in welcoming our first two Community Advocates, Which are Dom and NemeJaney. I'm sure you'll all agree they are excellent upholders of our community values and will provide a fantastic welcome to our new members and will help lead our community into the future.
This is an exciting opportunity for the team to reward our members and we hope you look forward to welcoming our new 'Community Advocates.' We'll be periodically adding more members to this. If you feel anyone in particular should be recognised, please feel free to contact us with your suggestions.
