OK, so for the flying coaster I would recommend using TheCodeMasters flyers, they (I think) have a fixed rating.

For invert ratings, Use one of the CTRs for inverts that are out there.

For the eurofighter, I don't think there is much choice apart from dasmatze eurofighter or the exact Saw CTR. (I can't remember the author so you'll have to do some digging)

S&S Screaming Swing, you could use Revolutionary Rides one.

Ive been looking but cant find it, but does anyone know where I can find a CS set for river rapids bits, such as the wooden spinning things. Just things for placing in the water and stuff to make it look realistic. I have a CTR rapids but need these extra bits. It would be really helpful. Thanks

I have a strange bug I'm encountering.

If I try to build a flying (CS and Vanilla) coaster on a very tall bit of land (a plateau at close to max-terrain height), it was "crash" as soon as it leaves the station despite the fact there is no reason why it should. Why is this happening?

It's really annoying as I want to build a B&M Flier that dives off a tall rock and swoops down to the sea below. But this bug is preventing me too.

What's strange was that I was able to build a Eurofighter on almost max heigh land with no problems. I have also built a B&M Inverted coaster on almost max height too. It makes no sense to me.

The game tells me that the coaster Crashed as I "test" the coaster.
If I'm in build mode and "test" the coaster, the blueprint doesn't move either.

I might record what I mean with Fraps.

Ok that's strange.
I started up RCT3 to film the bug... and... it didn't happen. Everything was fine...

The only thing different would be:
I closed the game down and opened it up (days later).
I developed the area where I was trying to build.

I have no idea why the bug occured. That glitchiness I've only seen with Tilt-Coasters.

I now have to locate my fraps video and purge it :P

I know what caused the problem. There wasn't enough track for the train to sit in the station. I needed a blank piece of track at the back of the station. ========[][][][][][][][]= I needed the track at the end, otherwise the train can't sit on the track. Because the back of the train isn't on track, the game assumed a crash has occurred.

I dont understand how that happened as the game automatically shrinks the train to fit the station or doesnt allow you to test/open the ride and says station isnt long enough.

Perhaps it wasn't configured properly for the particular ride type; a Flier.
But literally, the train should have sat happily with the track configuration. It just I suppose the model for the cars were longer than they appeared, like they had a few extra pixels of invisibleness. And then the game didn't bother accommodating the too-long train.

So, just out of curiosity...

Has RCT3 declined in popularity or is it just park threads? Are people still playing it? I know the park threads have died out and my interest in the game died out however it has been recently picked back up - leading me to reinstall the game and build new parks again. I just wished Id saved my old ones.

I did play it a lot... Then got bored of it... Then started to make CS again, but never finished... Then got bored again... :lol:
Personally, I think that there are better (maybe not released yet) theme park games available, such as NoLimits and Parkitect, RCT is a bit same old same old now

Thats true. I got Theme Park Studio but didnt like it. I think its because Im looking forward to RCTW that RCT3 is seeming good again.

Yeah, I'd prefer something like theme park studio, but more no-limitsy.

Back on topic, is there a way to modify a coaster type's settings? So I could modify, say an extended coaster, to have vertical chains? Thanks :)
