Dan C's NL2 creations

I thought I had a topic for this already, turns out I didn't. This topic is for my own designs. Starting with Jet Rescue. An old project of mine that I've managed to recover and am currently in the process of improving. Let me know what you think!

*WARNING* Picture heavy topic, this post particularly.
First launch into a series of overbanked turns

Second launch into a large corkscrew (Helix style)

Leaving the first inversion
Image
Vertical loop followed by a heavily banked turn/dive

Twisted airtime hill after a tunnel

Another tunnel precedes this partially underground helix

Third launch leads directly into an airtime hill

Twisted hill followed by an Immelmann inversion

Another twisted airtime hill after the Immelmann

A high speed turn leads into another airtime hill followed by a zero G roll

The Zero G roll dives towards the water, quickly rising up into a brake run. The train exits this and spirals round into a drop that will have a wooden building constructed around the bottom of it.

Leading up from the drop is a series of twists and turns, interrupted only by a corkscrew that provides rides with a short moment of hangtime.

The turns lead into a moment where riders are at an elevated level, which doesn't last long due to a sharp drop towards the water.

From that drop a splashdown is simulated by water jets as the train navigates a gentle but high speed curve just above the water's surface.

Finally riders return to the ground as they jump up into the final brake run and back to the station.

And to finish off with, an overhead shot of the whole ride.

A lot's been done since the first post here, so I thought I'd make a post showing all the new stuff!
Jet Rescue's been changed to a MACK launched coaster, recoloured and seen some layout changes (It will also be renamed so I need suggestions)

Oasis (Formerly Manta), a B&M flyer has been worked on, with all the supports complete except for the final brake run

At the current moment I don't have the freedom to upload videos to YouTube at all but I am looking into getting a new laptop which I will have complete freedom over, so I should be able to make videos by the time these rides are finished yes :)

I suppose an additional laptop might allow less lag and more data for the project, if you share the project between both machines(but I don't really know how computers and laptops work so this could in fact be a useless post) :P

I've been working on a new coaster near Icefall (A B&M Floorless coaster in a fir forest), called Snowstorm. The name is staying, but I'm uncertain about leaving the track AND supports bare white. It's utilising Intamin's double spine track and has two launches. A unique to Intamin element is also present, with the heartline following a similar path to an Immelmann, but the peak is not inverted. Instead the track twists up and outwards at the top :)

Little update from the Oasis Springs park, Jet Rescue has had more supports placed, and Oasis has had the track colour toned down. The Eurofighter has had more work done elsewhere, involving the entire indoor segment being redone (The indoor dive loop didn't work out too well, guess Gerstlauer just weren't meant to make small dive loops ;) )

That flying coaster looks incredible! Not a NoLimits person here, but tried it a few times and personally i think its amazing that anyone can build something that good on it, I couldn't even get a simple oval to look right :lol:

It's been a long time since I posted in this topic but I thought I'd bring something new again. An unnamed wing coaster with a planned demonic possession theme. Because of the theme several elements are 'inclined' including the initial wing over drop, and the central area that the plaza will be near is intertwined.

I'm aware of the issues with images in the above post, it's due to them being Gyazo screenshots as opposed to Imgur uploads. Here's some more up to date screenshots of Project Demon. Got big plans for this area, hoping for a fully themed area.

Fixed those images for you - if you right click the images displayed at the original links you get the option to 'copy image address/url' :)

All looks good though! Is the inclusion of the Boomerang coaster inspired by Taron/Raik? :P

Yeah there's some minor inspiration there, plus I felt something could be used with the wing coaster's inclined dive loop, so I had some interaction between the coasters :)
