Hey all!
Thought we'd share some more info on our park along with some screenshots. We've been working day in, day out since June (yes I know, none of us have better things to do than play minecraft and sleep) on this resort! We're running the park on a vanilla version of the game- no fancy plugins or mod magic, just a flurry of command blocks! We've taken inspiration from a lot of parks- it's got the scale of Alton, the terrain of Liseberg, the charm of Europa and even a few oddities from Blackpool. It's much bigger than any of our previous builds, and we're trying to cram in as many detailed shows and rides as we can manage. Our current plan is to put it up for download mid-july, and we'll continue updating the park with events and new attractions afterwards. We'll try to update this topic often, as to keep you guys updated.

Jungle Run
This was one of the first things we built at the park! Whilst it’s not quite as detailed and extreme as some of our newer attractions, it’s still a great family ride, which happens to be one of the few rides we all worked on together. Cory picked the spot, George did the layout and I set up the technical bits.

Not the most exciting update, but a few things have been done!
Firstly, the car parks are more or less done. All that needs doing now are some overflow fields, some foliage and road links to the surrounding villages.
Image

Next up is our topspin, Ninja. We aren't the best at building flat rides, but any park would feel empty without them. Here's George overseeing construction.
Image

And finally, work has begun on our unnamed hyper coaster. The station is a bit hectic right now, so all we can show off right now is the drop.
Image
We'll have a bigger update on Wednesday, showcasing our functioning drop tower, Ritual Fall.
Thanks!

Ritual Fall
My personal favourite ride! Inspired by The Welcoming, this is a fully functioning drop tower with a theatrical-style queue. I don’t want to brag about it too much, so I’ll leave you with the POV.

Dragon Dash
Thrilling yet serene, our intamin launch coaster weaves its way through the Sacred Gardens at tremendous speed. This really is George’s baby- he’ll often hang out and tamper with it if there’s not a lot that needs doing on the rest of the Resort. But what can I say, it’s brilliantly detailed and has a nice charm to it.

It's been a while since the last update as we've all been busy with life and the sunny weather may have distracted us a bit. Recently quite a bit has changed, so we thought we'd show it off!
First up, over at the resort, work has begun on the high-ropes. Guests will climb up the lighthouse (cladded in wood to blend in with the area) before traversing the usual go-ape style elements, finishing with a large zip wire over the waterpark.
Image

One of our more thrilling rides is Cliffhanger "Super Swing". It's cheesy name comes down to the fact that the park decided to quickly install one after seeing how popular they were.
Image

Delving back into Sacred Gardens, this time for Diddy Dragon, the parks powered coaster. With it's exciting interactions with Spirits River and Dragon Dash, this family ride is not to be missed.
Image

Another thing we've added to Sacred Gardens is this teacups ride! If you look to the side you can see construction borders for next years big ride too.
Image

Now for something a little different but still pretty exciting... for our desert area we decided that the ground should be all sandy. Easy job with some plugins right? No, we decided to do it all by hand. As you can see it's not quite finished yet! Once all the sand has been put down we'll start to build rides and show buildings.
Image

And the final thing we've got to show today, and that's Warp Speed, a shuttle loop coaster. It's incredibly dated, but that helps add to the charm of the park and cheesiness of the area.
Image

And that's it for now! Within the next few weeks we'll hopefully put out a video of Nosferatu, our suspended swinging coaster that was recently finished off.

Just a quick, small update today. All of our rides on park are now complete, all that's left to do is polish and re-do some older stuff and finish off the resort. On Sunday we're going to announce when we're putting the resort up for download! Until then enjoy a look at the theme park from over head.

Before we get to the big announcement, I thought I’d briefly go over how we’ve worked on the park.
Tifford started off small and with no clear direction. Cory and I were chatting about previous projects we’d individually worked on and how we should do one together, so he setup a server, we invited George and we got to work.
The first couple nights were exciting. We learnt off each other’s building styles and techniques, placed some track for what would eventually become Jungle Run and designing our main street and our “weenie” are just some of the things we got up too!
After Lost Woods was finished we developed the rest of the front-end of our resort. Alongside the family coaster would lie a mysterious dark ride, a cute kiddie area and a family fun hedge maze. After this, things really got wild.
When work began on Wintertown, we began to realise how huge this resort was going to be. We often compared it to Alton with its miles of seemingly endless pathways and forests. Sure, it was daunting, but we pushed on and the middle area was complete.
Fast forward several months later, and the back area is completed with Sacred Gardens, Sultan’s City and Starport X. Now all that needs doing is the waterpark, some reworking of certain rides and a whole lot of polishing.
It’s just over a year since work on Tifford Valley started, and now we’re nearing completion! So, we’re glad to announce that Tifford Valley will be available to download on July 20th! This has been a long time coming and we’re all super excited to unleash our baby.

Image
But we’re not stopping there! Any good theme park hosts events and installs new rides, so we aim to maintain interest by seasonal attractions and a huge new dark ride for 2019.
Our first upcoming event is Tifford Terrors, our Halloween event! We’ll be scattering dozens of pumpkins and hay bales amongst our rides, and opening three scare-mazes to boot.

Image
We’re considering what we could do for a Christmas event as well. Such events aren’t huge in the UK so it’s a little tricky to get major inspiration. But hey- we’ll approach it with the same attitude the rest of the park was built on- “yeah sure, at some point”.
And last but not least is our 2019 dark ride, located at the back of Sacred Gardens. We’ve had ideas on what this ride will involve, and one of those is making it a trackless style ride similar to Symbolica. It’ll be a challenge, but we’ve got plans on how to make it work! If all goes to plan then you can expect it sometime in Spring 2019 (unless a freak snowstorm appears out of nowhere).
Thanks for reading!

Re: Tifford Valley Theme Park

Hey guys, we've hit a bit of a technical hitch so we thought we'd update you on it and how that's gonna affect the project.
A couple days back, George suggested we updated the server to the latest snapshot so we could make use of the new aquatic features, so we wouldn't have to redo the kids area right before/after launch. With a bit of persuasion, the server was updated. We took a day or so retooling the aquarium and the general feel of the area.
After Aqua Domain had been redone we continued checking that every ride was as good as could be. So I headed over to Ritual Fall only to discover that the ride wasn't working, despite having nothing done to it over the past week or so. I then headed over to Nosferatu and that had similar issues. It turns out the game has redone the way it accepts commands and, as a result, several of our rides either don't work or don't offer the full experience!
This caused a bit of panic, and after a day or so of trying to figure out what to do we've decided to use a convertor to fix all the commands (doing them by hand would take forever and both Ritual Fall and Nosferatu were a nightmare to get right in the first place). However, as there's been a full day with no progress whatsoever, it's looking unlikely that we're going to hit July 20th as the release date. It's still very much possible, but due to the time constraints and the fact that we all need to sleep, it's likely that we're gonna go over by a couple days. The second we've got it all fixed we'll be continuing to check the resort, then all that needs doing is some behind the scenes stuff and we're good to go.

Hopefully we'll be able to iron out the issues so we can have it up for download, and it's looking like any potential delay will be minute.
Thanks for reading!
-Mo

TLDR: The snapshot messed all our code so we've got to convert it meaning we're likely going to miss the launch.

The nights are getting longer and the temperature is dropping further and further...
Work on Tifford Terrors actually started last Halloween with the construction of two of our mazes, and just after the final version of the park was ready, Halloween prep properly began. We're glad to announce that Tifford Terrors will be available to download between the 29th September and 4th November!
Image
The resort is scattered with pumpkins, hay bales and some super spooky colours. We've got three scare mazes that are joining the lineup just for this event.
Image

Image

Image
We've also got two scare zones and a family haunt for you guys to experience, but we aren't quite ready to show those off just yet.
Happy Haunting!
