I think they should be practicing their sign reading skills first :lol
Life is a roller coaster. You can either scream every time you hit a bump or you can throw your hands up in the air and enjoy it.

Today at Thorpe...

1.
In preshow room of DBGT.
Girl: 'Omg, whats in this room'
Guy: 'Oh, its a lift that may drop'
Girl: 'No way, like that tower ride at disney?'
Guy: 'Yeah, gonna be wicked'
They were disappointed

2.
After a ride on Stealth
Girl: 'Mum that was so unsafe, I came out of my seat on that.'
Mum: 'Yeah, same here. Lets ask for a free queue jump pass.
*walks over to ride host
Mum: Excuse me, that ride was unsafe, we demand a free queue jump.
Host: Its called airtime darling.
*Host walks away probably feeling epic.

Not at a theme park, but just in the taxi from the airport after a trip to PA, and the taxi driver said "Did you know Dragon Khan was once the biggest rollercoaster in the world?!"

Not exactly true :/
Ride count 2017: 346!
Ride count since the beginning of 2015: 857!

Today, talking with some friends at school and one of them asks me if I've been on Thirteen and Rita.
I reply I've been in Thirteen, but not Rita.
She replies that it is a really good ride and that "Rita: Queen of Speed is the second fastest rollercoaster in the world"
I reply "really?" in a slightly surprised tone
She nods her head as if she knows what she is talking about...

I couldn't stop smiling after that!

I can see where the confusion comes from though. When it opened, it broke two world records, with its largest vertical loop record being most likely to confuse the driver.

On a Thorpe trip last week, a friend of mine who I've been desperately trying to turn into an enthusiast was talking about their Alton Towers trip when they said "and then we took the monorail thing from the Peppa Pig Land to Nemesis". ](*,)  SO MANY THINGS WRONG. My conversion efforts are failing!

Person one: "what's Hex like?"
Person two: "well, do you like pirates?"

Interesting...

I've sat next to some ... interesting ... people lately thanks to Dragon's Fury Single Rider. My favourite from the past few weeks was when we were stacking really badly on the brake run, at least three cars from the station, facing backwards. Next car finishes the circuit and hits the brake run just ahead. Guy in front of me says:

"Imagine if it hadn't stopped and just went smashing into our car, that would be well funny!"

... No it wouldn't?
