Here is the official trailer for 2017's "The Mummy" with Sofia Boutella.

The trailer certainly eases in the 'scary' aspect that this movie is set to deliver - with it's director confirming that next years edition of "The Mummy" will be 'genuinely scary' in some scenes. It also shows off Princess Ahmanet (The Mummy) tearing apart the real world in present day, as opposed to somewhere less believable - a change from the previous movies.

For some reason, i'm seeing this as more of a 'Mission Impossible' than a horror movie. But hey, as long as this doesn't mean a re-theme of Revenge of the Mummy, I'm happy. :lol

Surprisingly, many people aren't a fan of the current theme of the ride and so speculation says they might be retheming or to this more 'realistic' approach. Looking at how well they've done with recent attractions I wouldn't be too worried :)

Here is the first trailer for Transformers: The Last Knight. I must admit this trailer didn't get me excited and I remain confused with the story line, which is plainly put as "Mark Warburg battling Nazi's with King Arthur and the Transformers".

All this set aside I'm sure this will get explosive ( ;) ) success at the box office and I'm intruiged to see more.

Is that seriously the plot? 8-[ I've not enjoyed any of these films since the original but even I'm confused by the teaser trailer I couldn't even tell you what its about just going from that.

As for the Mummy trailer, it does look more like a MI film, a bus sliding across the floor and he sidesteps in through the upper-deck windscreen... I'll be giving this one a miss.

I do however like some of the sound used in the trailer, the plane part before everything happens and the morgue sound have some really unsettling sounds used.

It seems as though the Star Wars 8 title has leaked, and suggests the next movie will be named "Star Wars: Forces of Destiny".

Just a tad cringeworthy, fingers crossed this isn't the case :lol

Fans are warning those seeing Rogue One: A Star Wars Story to be wary it has "suicide squad syndrome" when it comes to Darth Vader. According to those who have seen the movie the character has a very brief part within the film unlike marketing would have you believe. This should be kept in mind if you are seeing Rogue One for Darth Vader :)

Star Wars 8 has a title!

It's um, well it's a title... :lol
Seems to be a trend having "The Last -" as subtitles this year, with Transformers doing similar!

Not sure on the new red colour scheme as opposed to yellow either :-k

I'll admit that the red colour scheme for the logo does seem a bit odd compared to the traditional yellow however I wonder if this is a nod to Episode 8 being darker than The Force Awakens.

The title has also got me thinking. Is the last Jedi singular or plural? Are they going to kill Luke off and have Rey head into Episode 9 as the last remaining Jedi or does it more point toward Luke and Rey pairing up to fight the First Order?

I'm also interested to see what they will do with Kylo Ren. We saw he was somewhat conflicted and felt the light side of the force calling him so will they have him fully turn and go against Snoke?

Whatever happens I think we'll see some sort of twist and I can't wait until December to see it!

From what I have heard, kylo ren is going to have a major part in the next two films, with a major scene with princess Leia (filmed already). Snoke is certainly returning and I am very looking forward to see what the film will be like!

Obviously Leia's scenes for Episode 8 have been filmed already :sus:

By the language used in your post it suggests you have insider knowledge regarding the film, would you care to share your source?

I kept expecting something big and scary to happen but it was quite tame. Hope to see it when it comes out because the concept itself is sheer genius by Stephen King!

I'd say a few sections were quite scary.

The best horrors don't rely on cheap jumps, take The Conjuring series - much scarier than most with minimal jumps.

Atmospheric horrors always win over ones with cheap scares. Can't wait for It, the sheer of Pennywise's presence is chilling.

Couldn't agree more. Gore too should also fall under that a good movie shouldnt have to fall back on that as well. One of my favourite movie to date in Alien its just so atmospheric
