To be fair to Max he couldn’t anticipate Stroll brake testing him!

But it was a decent race... not quite as exciting as the last two, bit I don’t think it could have been!

On a side note I’m glad to see Hamilton back to winning ways as he definitely has the talent, despite his poor recent run of form.

As it’s been put by DC many times...

Dry and hot race forecast for today. Danny Ric looked pretty unstoppable again yesterday. Hopefully Red Bull don't mess up their pitstops this year.

Grosjean and Verstappen starting near each other, with KMag in-between. That'll be interesting...

Well, incase anyone is having a long weekend and hasn't watched yet, but still found their way to this thread...

Spoiler: show
The race was pretty much the same throughout of Danny Ric maintaining the pace and no one able to do anything. But when the context changed from being tyre management for the first 20 laps, to him managing a broken car, the race became more interesting. Even though, pretty much the same thing was happening!

Loss of two gears and the energy recovery turning on at all the wrong places, made it a tough race for him.

Other than that, Vettel hit all the targets on podium!

Well aside from the Hartley/Stroll incident that was quite a quiet race. A pair of slow races back to back never looks good for F1.

It’s a shame that Bottas and Raikkonen don’t have the ability to challenge their teammates, but kudos to Bottas this weekend for putting together a solid race, in no way exciting but solid none the less.

I’m looking forward to the French Grand Prix, a track many may not have raced at before. Should make some interesting first lap nerves!

Aston Martin Red Bull Racing have announced that, from the 2019 season, they will be running Honda engines instead of Renault.

I actually don’t think this is a bad move. McLaren don’t seem to be making the progress they had hoped with Renault, and the Honda power unit seems to be performing much better at Toro Rosso, although they haven’t really had the results which reflect that, except Gasly’s strong finish in Bahrain.

For purely selfish reasons, I hope this works out for them and we see Red Bull challenging Mercedes and Ferrari consistently next season.

Will be interesting. Either McLaren or Red Bull are about to become very upset.

Toro Rosso will be getting engine penalties soon enough though, as they've already maxed out the allowance on all of their engine parts. But seeing as Ricciardo has as well and Verstappen is not far off, the Honda has certainly improved since last year in reliability compared to Renault.

Red Bull seems to be improving a lot recently and I hope it is a decision that will work in their favour :)

I think McLaren we’re putting a lot of blame on the engine and really allowing their other design teams to go under the radar.

It’s a shame they were caught napping but hopefully this will give Red Bull a real title opportunity next season!
