That's cool, but last time I went they were playing Justin Bieber from the gates to the end of the bridge...
Way to set up an atmosphere, chaps!

I really do like how the island looks for 2017. It is very clear the park wants to become a more enjoyable day out for the whole family, as oppose to just teenagers and very young adults. Having angry birds greet may be minor but will certainly give younger children more experiences to be involved with. I am bit surprised why the drop tower is not opening in Easter like timber tug boat, when it looks just as ready as tug boat.

SouthParks now have a full round up of all the changes from the Annual Passholder Preview this weekend.

I have to say that despite the closure of Stealth and Colossus going down, overall the park is looking really good and the best it has in a long time. There are lots of repaints and refreshes throughout the park which have really lifted it. One of the criticisms I do have is that there seems to have been an excessive amount of tree felling which means that, in places, it kind of makes the park feel smaller as you can see everything in the park from some points.

The new blog post from Thorpe details the new music found across the site, and confirms its made by IMAscore!

The park also state that they have a lot more music ready to roll out over the next few months... could we be seeing area specific soundtracks? New updated ride sounds tracks?

For now we have the new Island Theme... and it's very exciting!

I expect they may be alluding to new area soundtracks rather than replacement ride soundtracks, especially given the emphasis given to the different areas this year with their new logos and signage.

The more I listen to the Island Theme the more I fall in love with it. Its got such a tropical, yet fantasy vibe to it and suits it amazingly well. Wish IMAscore did official downloads of their tracks.

I am very mostly likely to be in the minority but I don't really like the soundtrack. It sounds far too magical for Thorpe park so it is would better suited for towers. I wish it was a bit more nautical based and more interesting and fun to listen to because at the moment, for me, rumba and entrance new soundtracks seem to suck any joy from the park.

We forget Thorpe has and will be receiving a lot of changes. I expect this falls in line with their new image! :D

Also, before this we had music from Justin Bieber playing, so if anything I'd say joy has been pumped back into the park :lol

The various samples online really don't do the new soundtrack justice. When you're in the turnstiles and The Dome it just works so well with all the new island theming and is so, so much better than the pop tracks which played before. I can see how people can be a little unsure about if from the section of the track that has been released online though.

I love the new sound myself and it's good to see Thorpe really taking huge steps forward in creating a much better identity for the park. I can't wait to see what other soundtracks we'll get later in the season.

I've noticed, on the app, for the map and queue times, stealth is not listed.
