But seriously, what it is is a swingamyjig that swings you around. Best not go on just after your nachos and cheese, or you'll be sick all over the other riders, who may lynch you! The ride itself is a swingy ride. No more. No less.

Alton seem to have spoiled the ride when they moved it to make way for RITA. you don't seem to go has high or has fast, this might be because you come closer to RITA or the ride isn't as good as is used to be. Its a shame because Ug Swinger and Bone Shaker were 2 good rides.

If you over the age of 11 and over 6 stone and have a death wish this is the ride for you Yes they do let you on what ever you waste size but when you look at the very thin chains and then look up to see that there just hooked on (pluss the old chipped paint dosent help) you start to feel very sick , but no the rides not over yet, when it gets to its full swing your mates (who thinks its a right laff that your praying for you life and finding this more intimidating than oblivion!) then start to swing your chain *:shock: HELP* when the ride dose come to a stop (and your not sure weather you have pooped your pants) you'll be thanking god your still alive!

Poor Ug Swinger! It's not that concering. After all - it is one of the parks oldest residents! It has seen rides come and go before it, but it has remained, proudly a member of Festival Park and Ug Land.

Ug Swinger, whilst not as high as it was pre-Rita, is still a ride that is better than it looks. It swings pretty high and pretty fast. whn Rita rushes past it's great fun.

A super ride that really would be missed!

My first trip to Towers since I was a child was in '06 and I will always remember my first ride on this. Rita had a massive queue and had just been on Corkscrew so on we went. I picked an outside seat and during the ride I kept thinking I was going to crash into Rita's track! Never had to queue very long in all the times I went on the UG swinger. Will definitely ride again in its new mushroom form!
