Courtyard Tavern and BBQ
Post Posted: Mon 28th Mar 2005 14:01
Great place to sit down and have some food :D Has a great atmosphere on busy days, sit outside, listen to the music, grab some beer and some food and sit down and have fun

One of the best places to eat in the park, queues do develop, but the staff are really quick and seem to have a laugh at the same time 8)

Good Grub

Another excellent venue to eat in. Offering a different variety of food compared to the fast food chains you can relax and chill out in the courtyard.

The smell of the hot BBQ wifts past as you drink your pint. What more could you want.

Good Food at Good Prices in a Good Place!

(If your unlucky you'll spot the TTF yobs in their)

Thought I might aswell review this whilst I'm awake.

Nice little wateringhole for a themepark.

As far as the drinks go, compared to last year this season has bigger range of drinks. Now selling spirts and bottles of magners which is essential for any hot day whilst in the proximity of a bar.

From the pump however the lager is terrible. Taste likes it goes down drain pipe off the roof, filtered through the bog and poured out the pump into a plastic glass. Not nice however still drinkable.

The prices are resonable i suppose. Sort of what you would expect to pay in a place like that.

Not many seats inside which is a downer in bad weather but a fair few outside for good weather.

Drinks are a tad on the expensive side, a bit more variation on the food wouldnt be bad. I miss the "unhealthy" option :D

Its a good place to sit and chill, it certainly has a "tavern/pub" feel to it. It would be nice with some music, i wonder if it could be used at the end of the day as a place to keep open late with a resident DJ or something? As its close to Towers Street and could be self contained. Im sure there was a foam pit in there once.

The staff are freindly and nice, the centre can be quiet, but another good place to sit and watch the world go by, shame theres no seating looking out over the lake?
