If it seems as though breakfast was ages away, and it isn't proper to have lunch yet, you might consider splashing out on a waffle and some Ice Cream. At £3.75 for a two scooper, it's not exactly the cheapest food available on park, however, it is quite substantial.

And the food is wonderful. Mmm.

I had a waffle with 2 scoops of Carte D'or chocolate Ice Cream, topped with chocolate sauce (See a flavour theme here?). And mostly everyone I was with did, too. And it was really, really nice. It might seem like a bit of a strange combination, but if it's a hot day and you're about to go for a 35min+ queue for the Queen Of Speed and are already a bit peckish, pick one up and take it with you, for God's sake. It's nice and cooling, whilst the heat of the waffle adds to the flavour.

I can't reccomend these lurvely treats enough.

Many other flavours were available.

9/10, losing a point for the price.

Great little outlets. I prefer the one in Gloomy Wood than Ug Land as the queues are less at the Gloomy one. The prices are high even with an AP discount so i don't usually use the outlets unless i'm refilling my capsule. Still they are nice for an ice cream in the summer heat.

Had a waffle and 1 scoop for £3.25, I could have afforded 2 scoops but didn't want too much ice cream, very nice and one of the nicest desserts I have ever had, however the service is terrible, 2 windows with 1 person serving, why not just open the one window...however a good place to serve some good treats

Mmmmmmmm…

I have to have a warm waffle and chocolate ice cream every time I go to Towers or my visit is not complete. :P they are just so yummy, but maybe a little overpriced at £3.25, but its not really that bad when you consider how good they taste. :D

Waffles And Ices Gloomy Wood.

Well, I'm not overly impressed. I thought that the service was pretty bad, and that the person who served me on Thursday needs to grow a pair of ears. the service was below my expectations from the park, but the Waffle was Quality! yum yum :D

Pros

- Excellent waffles

Cons

- in my opinion, and experience, Poor service.

Rating

Food 8/10

Service 3/10 =;

Overall 5/10 ](*,)

Yummy :D

Had some Waffles and Ice Cream topped with Chocolate Sauce the last time I visited Alton Towers.

The Food itself was delicious. The Chocolate Sauce was creamy and plentiful, whilst the Waffle/Ice Cream combination worked a treat.

However the Service was poor, with a rather messy Service area, accompained by no clean-ish Spoons.

At £3.25 for a Waffle with 1 Scoop of Ice Cream, I'd say it's quite overpriced. However you do have to remeber you are at Alton Towers, so it can be expected.

:)

Overall, an excellent standard of food, with a high Price tag equating to a,

8/10 :)

My absolute favourite retailer of egg, sugar and fat in the park. No seriously. It's the best!

10/10
