This place looks a mess in Forbidden Valley and doesn't fit in however it is a fantastic little restaurant. I bought a couple of sausages which were very nice and the staff were friendly enough. I'd go back there for sure :). It was nice and warm in there too :P. Also, they have some cool stuff on the walls :).

I quite enjoyed the internal decoration in this restaurant, it has some lovely pictures of Nemesis and the Nemesis Legend all written out. It was very nice... it was almost as if I'd editted it myself. Oh... wait!! :?

It is out of place, nice food, but the paint work and pop music just spoil the entire thing...

They have pop music which ruins the atmosphere, if they could sort out the Pop Music and Horrid paint work on the outside, then it will be an average food outlet.

Pleasant food, but the theming of it is just non-existent then with the music and paintwork it's an un-themed out of place outlet that does nice food.

Needs improving drastically...

I don't think it looks too bad, although it could do more to blend in with Forbidden Valley.

As far as the food goes, it's reasonably priced (£5.50 for a fish, chips, peas/beans/curry and drink meal) and of good quality. The chips are delicious and the batter tastes really nice. The peas were very mushy and very delicious, and the soft drink was a good size (500ml).

All in all it's another good quality eatery at Alton Towers.

Seating is limited.

I like the fish and chips better at this outlet than the Towers Restaurant, but the service is slow. They could do with more counter space too. I like the Nemesis story on the wall though. Great outlet but need to improve service. 7/10.

We went there last year and thought the price reasonable for a top tourist attraction. We had the fish, chips, curry sauce, drink, and really enjoyed it. The service was a little slow, but the food tasted freshly cooked and piping hot.
Much better than going to the rubbish tip aptly named macd's.
We usually go to Pizza hut in Katanga, but get put off with all the rubbish and mess left by the kids.

Chips nice and chunky, fish a good size and not too greasy, batter crisp, and after 3pm you get two portions for a fiver. gets a thumbs up from me for good hot food at a reasonable price.

When I visited this place in July, at the peak of the busy school trips, it really impressed me. The staff were helpful and patient despite their being a lot of annoying/rude teens about. Though the outside is garish and could do with some themeing to have it fit in with the area (take the outlets in Mutiny Bay as an idea as to how to subtely do it properly), the inside has a fresh clean look that I can't complain about. The food itself was lovely, very well prepared for quick themepark grub. I would recommend to to anyone. To make even better use of the place, why not eat after 3pm? You'll beat the lunch queues and get 2 fish and 2 chips for £6!

:D

Love this place, especially after 3pm.
Can't really go wrong with 2 fish & chips for a fiver!
The food is excellent, the fish is HUGE, and the chips are really nice.

Sometimes it's hard to find a seat in there, or if there is one you can't get to it because it's so busy!

All in all I think it's a great place to eat.

I love the Fish and Chip resturant....its a ncie change from the typical themepark food such as KFC, McDonalds etc and its absolutly georgeous and good value for money! Also the resturant has the story of Nemesis written on the walls so its interesting to have a little read while you tuck into a lovely peice of battered fish or a sausage and chips while listening to the roar of Nemesis and the soaking on Ripsaw haha

I went with a couple of friends the food was disgusting and absolute rip off would never eat there again . Staff were un Helpful. took for ever to be served . so overall disgusting and wasn't impressed by the lack of hygiene when serving food from staff who were serving me and one of my friends .
for example of one member of staff wiped his nose on his hand and then went to serve my friend his meal. with out washing his hands before serving my friend his meal that he payed for .
So if you don't want a horrible meal and lack of hygiene I wouldn't recommend eating from this paticular fish and chips store .

I went to the park on the alton towers scare fest event in 2008

Best place to eat if you don't fancy burger king *Yuk* :x or kfc!

But i always go here at scarefest when it's darker and bit chilly and grab some chunky chips and gorgeous curry sauce! Yum!

Got to agree with Thrill Baby ... i'd sooner eat here than at Burger King ... good quality Fish and chips, and although they don't pile on the chips, the portions are an adequate meal size and it's not overpriced.

One of the better places to eat at Towers.
