| We stumbled over this area last year, almost by mistake. Having a toddler, we spend a lot of time in the farmyard area, and saw this from the EyeSpy boat ride, then later found it by going behind the Lost Kids windmill. It's a pity it's not better signposted - for those not nosey like me, it could just appear that the 'Dungheap' sign refers to the farmyard area.
It's a nice area for a quiet sit down while the kids have a run round and a play in the various enclosed areas, which are really basic playgrounds. We now make our way here late afternoon for a sit down and a coffee at the cart that is always there. The staff are quite chatty and I always get some gossip from them, such as how busy the park has been that day etc.
The areas are well-themed for different age groups, though I can't comment on the older kids areas or the maze, as we haven't progressed to those yet - but Spinball Son likes the trampoline in the smaller kids bits. He also enjoys chasing the bugs in the Dungheap itself.
I quite like this area, though it sits awkwardly with the farmyard theme, not helped by it being disjointedly located. Access through the hen 'paddock' is also poorly signposted - I reckon a lot of people look at the donkeys by the Berry Blaster, see the hens in the paddock and presume the gate is for staff only, thereby missing this area.
