My AT grand master plan idea
Post Posted: Sun 22nd Apr 2007 13:02
For years since i was 7 i've been coming up with ideas for Alton Towers. and over the years ive come up with hundrends of ideas, but fianlly ive pulled them all together plus ideas i came up with from what has been mentioned on this forum and ideas ive got from parks ive visted or heard of from around the world.
i have now come up with idea for what i would do if i owned the park, ive tried to keep it has relastic must also over-the-top as possible and here it is...my idea for every ride, attraction and shop...

ive created a map which has taken me about a month to create by just using auto shapes and word art on MS Word.

ive uploaded the map (which is huge by the way) but photobucket has shrunk it, so i'll post it up any way but if anyone can suggest how i can upload it in its full size, i'll very greatful.

i've also righten all the ideas out, but i dont know if i should post it all at once because its 4 pages of A4...
buat anywhere, here is the map for starters, i if you could post ur suggestions and such, i'll be much obliged...

Is there a possibility of making the map bigger or something so we can see names ect?

Maybe you could split the pic into 2 or 4 smaller images so its easier to see whats there.

Looks very impressive from what I can see though.

Try www.ridehost.com I don't think that shrinks it.

hmmmm....Ride host will only let me upload iamges that 10mb or less...and mine is about 24mb (lol i said it was huge)

my best bet is cutting it into peice but i may have cut it int omore than 4 peices and the map looks so much better when it is all one peice :dizzy:

as for the description...should i post the entire thing or should i do it in stages?

Use www.savefile.com

Then people can just download it from there...

You just have to zoom in like 100% and then you can see the font better. :)

Urm, I'm liking a lot of the ideas there. One spelling mistake I have noticed is on 'Typhoon'. On the logo it is spelt 'Typoon'.

Oh and one question. What is that in the gardens??

Anyway, liking a lot of those ideas and very well done on the artwork.

Matt :D

Wow, that's terrific! You've really captured the potential some of the areas contain!

Especially love how you've shown the new 'Thunder Rock'. This is just as a thought the area should have been, with rocks, caverns and lakes against a racing theme (even though remarketing Ritan would be very hard).

Loving the look of the Huss Topple Tower in the rethemed Merrie England, along with the water coaster of Odins Kingdom/Katanga Canyon.

The coaster corner area is absolute perfection. Although the classification of frights and delights to the woody isn't fair even if it will be marketed as a family attraction, the themeing is absolutley what the area should represent!

If you had you're way Alton Towers would be looking amazing! Fantastic ideas there.

I really like your ideas, it looks like a fantastic park with some great rides. It must have taken you ages to do so well done!

I like the new land with the woodie and the old Merrie England is looking really good too.
