What can I say: it's superb!

Wonderful re-theming of a classic. Brilliant attention to detail as the teacups are replaced as gunpowder barrels, and cannonballs and other paraphernalia litter the perimeter. This really is in the centre of the re-vamped Mutiny Bay area and really carries off its duties brilliantly - even down to the regular tea-cups ride-op who is an absolute credit to the park with her guest interactions skills, and has so easily taken to the pirate theme! Give that woman a bonus!

If the tea-cups were something you tried to get done in the day if you could manage it, Marauders' Mayhem is a necessity.

Wonderful - 5 stars.

Fantastic ride ,the theming is great and the sounds and smoke add to the ride. Much better than the tea cups and fits in with MB well. :D

Marauder's Mayhem is a much improved Tea Cup Ride which I believe is an essential part to your 2008 visit to Alton Towers!

Should you feel some strength, then spin the Gunpowder Barrels to the max and it's a wild ride. The new music is brilliant and adds to the experience. You may be treated to smoke effects, and there'll definitely be some crashes and bangs.

A fun ride, well themed, and it's much better than its predecessor!

:D

I think that it is much of an improvement of the classic tea-cup ride. Its a brilliant re-theme that fits in perfectly in the MB area of the park, the sounds and smoke really bring back the magic back to the Towers.

As for the ride operator, well she was superb! I'm refereing to the woman who was operating the ride sometime last July, she was joining in with the guests "can i get an eye eye", for the little ones (i think the adults enjoyed it too). My Mum enjoyed it so much she even gave the woman a hug for being so great. Top Notch 5/5 :D

Great ride but dont ride after eating!!

If you can get the maximum spin from the barrels, BE WARNED it messes you up big time

All in all a great ride for all.

10/10

Absolutely agree. This is a massive improvement over the old Tea Cup Ride.

When I went on on my last trip, we were on straight away - no queuing!.

The ride actually lasts a long time as well (with most rides like this, they only last a few minutes), where as with this, your on for about 5 minutes.

The smoke at the beginning (which I will admit, isn't always working) really helps with the theming.

One negative, is it too much like the Drunken Barrels at Drayton Manor. The staff are a lot more enthusiastic on Marauder's Mayhem though!

If you're looking for rides to go on, have a go on Marauder's Mayhem, great ride!

4/5 :!:

I just had to say that after riding Marauders' Mayhem again last weekend, what a fabulous ride it is. It is easily the ride that I have the most fun on and I absolutely love spinning the barrels as fast as possible!

Fantastic job AT, well done

*clap clap*
