Following the release of the 2 Thorpe Park Resort CDs (which if you have pre ordered will be coming on their way to you!), IMAscore have released a very captivating 'the making of' video, including interviews from the team at Thorpe Park Resort, and also the composers at IMA!

I really enjoyed watching that video and found it interesting. It was really nice to see a little snippet of what goes on, behind the scenes, to create the island soundtracks. I must agree though, Nemesis Inferno is an iconic theme!

Loved that video, it was indeed captivating. Inferno's theme towards the end gave me such goosebumps. I have and will always love that theme, the enhancements to it don't change that.

My Thorpe Park soundtrack arrived this morning. Included in the package is the double-CD, an “I Love Theme Park Music” sticker and a piece of card which has been signed by the wonderful people at IMAscore.

Some photos below :)

I am currently listening to my CDs and they sound AMAZING! The only thing different to the audio in the CD is that they come to a sudden end whilst at the park they blend in to one another. If you haven't purchased one you need to as it has been fantastic for me to remember soundtracks that I thought I had forgotten about from being at the park!

Nooooo, you too! Where is my copy? :(

With regard to IMAScore CDs, they all tend to be like that but you do get used to it very quickly!

Someone seems a bit salty that they haven’t got theirs yet :P

Having listened to the soundtrack in its entirety today, it’s well worth a purchase. Highlights for me are “The Big Top theme” and ”A Wave of Light and Sound” but, in all honesty, the whole thing is brilliant.

If you haven’t ordered it yet, I highly recommend it!

As good as you’d expect. It retains the feel of the original Inferno theme while having some IMAscore magic sprinkled all over it :lol

No idea why they thought they needed to change the Inferno and Colossus themes, they have always been fantastic as is.

I agree, iconic themes should have been kept. It’s odd though as in the making of video it can be heard that they say colossus and inferno were kept the same, which they haven’t been.

I think they said that they retained the original themes within the new music composition.

Mine arrived today too :D
I really like 'Welcome to THORPE PARK Resort', 'The Power of 10', 'Inferno Reigns' and obviously 'The Big Top Theme'. There are more which I am sure will grow on me further with another listen :)

That's exactly what is happening to me Justin! I am growing on to many soundtracks!

Moving off subject slightly, an interview answering questions that would interest both enthusiasts and the general public with Operations Director Andy Walker has been posted to Thorpe Park Resort's Twitter page!

Me too, I'm hoping that it gets released on their apple music page, along side existing albums of theirs.
