Re: Harry Potter Theme Park Announced!

Went to WWoHP today! Rode Forbidden Journey twice and Dragon Challenge twice. Both really good. FJ is one of the best rides I've ever been on. Combines dark ride/rollercoaster(ish) and simulator. You come face to face, literally, really close with the themeing - dementors, womping willow, a fire-bre...

Re: The Merlin Entertainments London Eye

Could I see the 4D show at the Eye without going on the Eye itself? I can't tolerate the actual Eye sadly :( Yep. Annual Pass holders can just walk inside the ticket office (where the 4D experience is), show the pass at the entrance of the 4D experience and then the exit is at the steps from the ti...

Wen't on the new 4D experience at The Eye yesterday and it was spectacular. Something you have to see to appreciate it.

Re: The Merlin Annual Pass

The other thing I've wondered: I swear I've spotted some Merlin annual passes that look different to mine, and I've wondered whether each attraction issues passes in it's own style... Obviously the front is the same for all (currently hideous gold), but it's the back, printed side that I wonder abo...

Re: The Merlin Entertainments London Eye

Egh I always disliked the "Merlin Entertainments" name, I thought they should have carried on the Tussauds name as it seemed so much more sophisticated. "Tussauds London Eye" "Merlin Entertainments London Eye". Eww. It also would have linked it to Madame Tussauds bette...

Re: Dungeons sue London Bridge Experience

Merlin Entertainments, owners of the London Dungeon in Tooley Street are to receive a substantial compensation payment from London Bridge Experience. This follows an out of court settlement of Merlin’s legal action against the nearby London Bridge Experience. Merlin launched its legal action agains...

Re: Europa-Park & PortAventura: 8 - 17 August 2009

Do not miss Furius Baco, I'd say it's the best launched coaster I've been on. The sheer speed of the launch..wow, then speeding down into the first corner. It's bumpy, but amazing.

Also, does the AP allow you to skip the queues at both Madame Tussards and London Dungeon? Conflicting information on the sites....

Annual Pass holders receive 'Priority Entry' to the London attractions. Depending on the busyness of the day, you might have to queue in the priority queue.
