Most of the times when ive been to AA the security guards are just sat around on benches doing nothing  Extremley unprofessional.
At tussauds parks theyre trained to walk arond patrolling which is good.

Whos this John Rigby?
I read about him concieving the idea of AA when he saw the old mine site.
So was he involved with Peter Kellard and John Wright but got away with it or was he part of a different company?

So why were these 2 dodgy chaps not successful with their origional park then?
Did it get closed down because of illegal activity or was it just lack of money?or some other reason?
It seems extremely odd to me that they only managed 8 weeks.
What was the problem?

They used to have a very big wheel at pleasure island that reached 280 feet.
Its not there now.
All they have now is of those crappy ones with carts that you sit in like at AA.

pleasure island: Alot of ATs old rides are there eg.Gravitron,1001 knights isnt Gravitron worth a trip there alone?[/quote] No Gravitron isnt that good. You dont really realise youre moving because it goes so fast. You feel as thogh youre stationary. Its a little like one of those cage rides you ge...

Im not sure why he left the company but he certainly didnt know how to market a modern day park. Lets hope they get someone new at AA soon. John wardley is probably contractually bound to tuassauds in the uk. So it couldnt be him. What about if they got someone from BPB. THey could probably sort out...

They could always put padding on the lap bars to stop it hurting you. It would be nice to see the clipper at AT. Blade sucks in my oppinion-not a thrill ride at all. I once saw someone throw up on Yankee clipper. The staff didnt notice. Eventually when they did by that time the boat was covered in i...

I had heard that Camelot had had problems putting in a new coaster. They wanted to replace the Tower of Terror with a larger coaster but was turned down.

Didnt Tower of Terror burn down while they were doing some building work on it?

Also the american theme is the basis of a good theming if they developed it properly.
They could turn AA into a tour of the usa or of america-but not the world.

Yes thats true but Europa Park is much more of a contrast to epcot than AA would have been if theyd done a round the world tour theme because both AA and epcot are set around lakes. Also AA wouldnt have been able to develop the theme properly because it would be very hard to theme the rides around t...

Also i forgot to say that idea that John Broome had was a very bad one. He planned to turn the park into a world themed theme park ( a sort of round the world in 1 day type thing) But surely if he had done this Disneys Epcot could get him sued because its exactly the same idea as epcot. A number of ...

Yes youre right about that stupid golf challenge. Its unlikely the ball will get on to the island but even if it does the park staff will never know because the cctv camera which is on the island is broken. If you look inside the office the screen is blank and its been like that for years now and no...

This is true. It was a great park when it first opened and in the early 1990s.It looked like it might have great potential. So what went wrong? Lack of investment like youve said and failure to modernise with the times. When it first opened the missile would have been a modern and exciting new coaste...

And also i forgot to ask about that fountain in the middle of the lake that used to shoot water up into the air like the one at AT hotel. You never see that switched on any more and as aconsequence the lake always looks filthy. Is it because its broke down or are they doing it to save money.I havent ...
