Re: Nemesis - General Discussion

I have to say that Nemesis on one train was nuts for how busy the park was yesterday. Certainly the busiest I've seen the park in the past 3 years. The parks overall readiness for even how busy Saturday was, was dreadful. Not enough food and drink places open, and long queues for drinks all day was ...

Re: The Smiler Incident 02/06/15

To be fair though this seems to have been a worse breakdown than usually and it doesn't seem the 45 minute wait was exaggerated. That is an awful long time to ...

Re: Shrek's Adventure London

The bus was made stationary a long time ago not that long after it opened, due to damage the forces were causing to the building itself, not much else has changed

Re: X:\ No Way Out

X got new restraints last year, and if uou ride alone its quite easy to get out of the restraint and stand up. Thus we now are forced to have 2x riders per car

Re: The Smiler Incident 02/06/15

I think even if alton towers re-open it on the last day of the season or at xmas it will result in minimal disruption to revenue. Because it kinda peotects scarefest and by main season next year the press will have had there day and it having reopened would be old news.

Re: Reserve N Ride

Reserve and ride is great and better than the main queue if the staff use it properly when batching. Once at the park you register a mobile device and connect to the wifi. They will scan all of your groups tickets / annual passes so one device will hold the groups information. Once you have been sca...

Re: Alton Towers - General Discussion

The park is open for the forces only on the 13th and 18th which would suggest that the season may start on the 19th, the invite states air will be closed so it may reopen late in 2016 following the 'upgrade'.

Re: New Theme Park attraction(s) for 2016?

There is one major problem with flat rides and that is the majority of them are designed for the traveling circuit rather than theme parks. Thorpe's flats tell allot to be fair they are complex and difficult to maintain and in many ways there is much more to go wrong with them in terms of life. The ...

Aquaworld in Budapest is currently the largest indoor park in Europe. I would love something similar with a film based theme. Maybe a few more slides but aqua world has plenty
