Re: SW9

Would something like Icon be above the tree line, that's an excellent ride that seems to be small enough to fit in the constraints of the towers?

Re: X-Sector refurbishment?

X-Sector does need another flat in the old Submission spot, on a busy day a flat would eat up 20-30 minutes of ques maybe even more, that's 20-30 potentially removed from the big 2 in the area Oblivion and Smiler and make the park seem more accommodating, the same needs to happen in Dark Forrest and...

Re: SW9

The Dark Forest area of the park isn’t small yet the way it’s currently laid out makes it feel pokey and cramped. There is potential to do a lot with it if they can be creative. Totally agree with this, when it used to be Ug Land and housed Bone Shaker, Swinger and Corkscrew I used to love going to...

Re: Legoland Windsor Resort - General Discussion

Anyone know exactly where in Duplo Land this will be? Is it replacing anything?  It’s going along the path connecting MINILAND and Duplo Valley. I don’t believe there are any existing attractions in the location. The trees and bushes have been cut down either side of the path connecting Miniland &a...

Re: LEGO Ninjago World

Does anyone happen to know what the budget was for the ride? We've been a few times over the last few years and each time I think the theming and station are just amazing, the ride itself is fantastic for the UK, wish we had something similar at Alton.

Re: Alton towers hotel

Hi apologies if this has been asked many times before - am looking at staying at AT hotel for a night - how does it work with the two day ticket ‘included’ - do they supply an email or something that gets you into the park on the first day? Assuming you can’t book into hotel until the afternoon? an...

If it's not limited to Alton then I'd probably say my favorite has to be the first drop on Manta in Florida where it puts you on your back, the force that pulls you with felt amazing.

Re: Alton Towers - Quick Questions

Hi All, quick question which my friend has asked me about and I don't know the answer. He's going to go down to Alton later this year to visit the theme park, he's seen previously that they have the comeback tickets for the park, however do they do a similar thing for the water park, so that if he v...

Re: The Smiler - General Discussion

The lack of any information is starting to feel a little ominous, normally by now we've got a reasonable guess / info from someone within the park as to why a ride is experiencing some down time, really hoping that it isn't a major problem, especially hoping that the post that someone had overheard ...

Re: The Smiler - Construction Discussion

They did put it out yesterday didn't they? It's obviously national news for alton towers to put daybreak/ daily mirror and countless other people through the ride before general public... Come on they never made the decision 10 mins before the communication came out, the could have easily done somet...

Re: The Smiler - Construction Discussion

Ha ha that just made me laugh, first few times we went to AT I was scared of coasters going upside down and would go on the black hole, first time asking does this go upside down because i'm not going on it if it does, seems ironic that on that sight now stands the coaster that goes upside down more...

Re: The Smiler - Construction Discussion

After looking at MI7s pics this coaster looks amazing, the station buildings look pretty good, I'm just hoping that they haven't forgotten about the toilet block roof, although not sure what they can do with it, but it's going to look god awful compared to the rest of the area.
