Re: Theme Parks Answer Any Questions This Christmas

Hi guys! I can assure you that all the questions are genuine, but the park's won't be answering every question. You might find some of the answers are a little brief, but I think today's one is pretty interesting info: Lewis asks: I've heard that Aardman Animations have some theme park ideas in deve...

Re: Terminator - The Coaster

As others have said, the Terminator = Wood thing is odd, but the ride itself looks good.

The Sarah Connor Chronicles back on UK television this week and now this, good time for Terminator fans!

Re: 2009: Sea Life

I think it's a good idea, if implemented well.

They're probably been monitoring how popular with guests the one at Chessington is and have decided one would also work well at Alton.

Putting it Munity Bay seems like a perfect fit.

As they have only used re-themed 'the flume' I can't see any major changes to the theme of Merrie England - but i agree that its need more to it - what could they add that would be 'typically english'?

Official press release and an artists impression of the new Drunken Barrels ride added here: http://www.themeparks-uk.com/drayton_ma ... s_new.html

Theme Park Aerial Photos

Courtesy of Google Earth, I've collected some fantastic aerial photos of Thorpe Park & Chessington - see http://www.themeparks-uk.com/theme_park ... hotos.html They are very recent (2005) which is nice as so many on the web are from years ago, does anyone have any detailed ones of Alton Towers etc.
