What a great idea, having a meetup on the very last day of the season, should be great. I'm pretty sure i'll be able to make it, but for the time being just put me down for a maybe!

I have many fond memories of the log flume at Blackpool pleasure beach. My family used to go to blackpool a lot when i was young and we always went on the log flume.
It is looking slightly worse for wear now unfortunately, hopefully it will be replaced by something new in the near future.

The only ride i would have liked to ride at Alton Towers but never did was the beast. I only rode on the thunderlooper once, that was my first major ride and i was probably about 11 or 12. I would have liked to ride the thunderlooper more than once, but i can remember the launch and the loop. A clas...

Even if i cannot stay overnight for the sunday i will definately stay until late saturday evening.

Just got to say a big thanks to gashead for helping me to post these pictures on TTF. My flying school is based at Manchester aiport and today we went down to an airfield near Derby to do some stuff down there. Before setting off for the way back i mentioned to my instructor could we go and take som...

I went to adrenalin week last year and if i remember correctly annual pass holders could get in. I went on the monday (the day after the final firework display), the park was extremely quiet and everything was walk on all day. I do not think nemmie was open for that week but having the opportunity t...

I usually go to the towers street family restaurant. I'm quite keen on their tomato and basil pasta, with sweetcorn and chips! However I do occasionally venture over to cred street McDonalds or X-sector pizza hut.

My big blue Alton Towers mug which i bought last year reminds me of the Towers, as does a photo of myself and my best mate on the flume last summer. Special memories from fantastic days at the towers!

To be honest its got to be Toyland Tours for me too, Charlie is a good ride but i feel there are too many bare bits within the ride. Toyland Tours on the other hand had so many interesting parts, such as Sonic the Hedgehog and not forgetting the legendary Hippo! Charlie is good, but Toyland was even...

All my mates know that i enjoy going to Alton Towers and that i go there as often as i can. At first i did receive loads of stick from my work colleagues but they now just accept it. My best mate is a fellow season pass holder and has always enjoyed going to theme parks so this makes things easier! ...

I do think the ride could have been a whole lot better. The lift is by far the best part of the ride. Everything else in the ride could have been improved. The picture lights before the boat ride seemed to go out of sync when i was queing, the boat ride is too short and the black tunnel doesn't help...

Towers street music and hex are my favourite pieces of music in the park. Towers street music puts you in the mood as you enter the park for another great day, whereas hex is really atmospheric and matches the ride fantastically well.

I was on park today, Charlie didn't open until 1pm due to technical reasons. When it did reopen the queue rapidly stretched all the way back to the skyride station. So the queue probably was about 2 hours, which was quite surprising for a monday. Saying that the whole park was fairly busy today.

Whoops, sorry a.ndy! The 70 pound offer applies if you renew your pass within a month after it has expired. So in your case you could renew your pass in the middle of june and the 70 pound offer would still apply. the tussauds annual pass website is www.annual-pass.com Hope that has cleared things up!
