GAAAAAWWWWWDDD KAYCEE!!! To be fair, I think it is easier to put on a better service when you are comnstantly working. Ie: you have a queue in all pens, and you keep on trudging through each dispatch. That way you don't get dosile, sytart chatting etc and slowing service down! Although my god,...

As much as I love the train revamp to MB and the soundtrack, I think its really shameless plugging by Alton Towers there. They are basically saying spend another £8 to come back tomorrow, before you have even used your current ticket.

This isnt about forcing people to quit smoking, but merley to stop it being in the park. I'm a non smoker, and even I think AT have gone a little too far here. There should be areas that are non smoking (Q-lines, resturants and busy areas) other than that I don't see the problem. Let's try and enfor...

I find Air ao uncomforyable is silly. It feels like the ride is pressing against you. I hate being confined into small spaces as well, so that doesnt help!

Voted for good old 'Blivvy. I love the incline on the lift hill in it!

Why does Rita get this and not Oblivion, when Oblivion has had much more of an impact upon Alton Towers and the theme park world generally.

Or is this a p!ss take?

We popped up before we left Towers t'other day, and the following questiosn were asked while we where there: "Have you had a good day on park? Heres your table. Really? I prefere air to Nemesis, more relaxing." "Would you like any drinks" we ordered a round "Are you enjoying...

I though there was a hire price for the plot at AT, not a % per item. It think that works much better.

im not saying its hard done by on staff. What im saying is for ever thing you add, your taking a staff member off the line. Therefore away from the customer. The problem with SUBWAY is that labour costs are screamed every day. Link that with not as much profit per item as Mcdonalds, you have a probl...

Those ideas have potential yes. But the problem is how are going to take the cambros (tubs) of prepd food from a main kitch area to the counters, keep them fully stocked and active with staff? I sound so negative against the idea - id love to own a subway at Alton Towers, the profit could be stagger...

Subway could work if done properly. Most subways have the bread ready, the fillings ready and its a case of just putting on what fillings the customer asks for. Not exactly hard is it. Speed up the process by having people butter some baguettes in advance and having some of the most popular orders ...

I always thought it was 20%?

They tried to con me in Towers trading with 10%, until I argued that the TOS when i bought it stated 20% off.

A Subway wouldnt survive at Alton Towers. I've said this time and time again, you can only have ONE counter, therefore serve 5 customers maximum. It takes an average of 2.5 minutes from sandwhich order to point of Sale. Therefore, a queue of 20 people is a good 30-40 minute queue with decent staff. ...

You also have to remember that AT had to invest in Half Term Halaboloo. No themeing is true, but staff costs etc were to be innvested in. So our early season event was a sucess.

Fastrack ultimate doesn't have all 19 rides on it. t just allows you to ride Air, Nemesis, Oblivion and The Flume ulimited times via the shortcut queue.

All 19 rides is the X-cellorator pass, which is priced at £54 i believe.

If FV ever gets plused (In good Old Disney talk) then I can see them moving Blade over to MB and replacing it with another thrill flat. Until then however, Blade stays where it is I think. As for MB. I love it. It's not too dark, not too yo ho ho and not too Disney. I think its the right balance bet...

It's somewhere that doesn't ask you to be someone you're not. No one cares if you act how you want, you are essentially free to be yourself at Alton Towers! The atmosphere and rides just add to that.
