Re: AP Discount - Not Happy!

I finally managed to get the AP discount on a Spa break - seems likeyou just have to ring back and hope to get someone else who just gives the discount. First person I spoke to was really unhelpful, saying I was lucky to be even getting a room for £99 and there was no chance there would ever be any ...

Re: AP Discount - Not Happy!

The AP discount is a joke when booking rooms now. I saved a massive £4 compared with booking the room on line last year

Can't even get it for NYE any more.

Re: The Merlin Annual Pass

Dont think this has been posted yet - when I went to upgrade the Tesco vouchers to a premium pass last week, got charged £35 per pass not the £30 it was originally - said this price increase was just new

Re: Quick Questions 2011

The price for the hotels when booking online seems to have come down quite sharply, "cheap" by AT's standards - any reason for this? For example, when I booked for scarefest over the phone and with AP discount I got a room for £218, this is now being offered online with no discounts for ar...

Re: Second concert - 6th July 2011 - Black Eyed Peas

You can now buy tickets for this with Tesco club card vouchers - £30 of vouchers for x 1 sandard ticket or £60 of vouchers for x 1 gold circle ticket.

Not a very good saving!

Re: Quick Questions 2011

Just rang the Chained Oak to try and book a room for Nov 4th but the whole guest house is booked out by the team that does the fireworks?

...so can anyone reccommend a guest house close by, i.e. walking distance?

Thanks

Re: Merlin Standard Annual Pass: Free Parking to end in 2011

Did they say you pay the extra £30 when you go to exchange the vouchers at the AP office? I can see this causing some problems with communication!

Re: NYE @ AT

Brilliant, another perk gone...

The 20% off is a joke anyway now, saved me almost £3 compared to the online price for a stay last year!

Re: NYE @ AT

I've just rang up about booking, said there was no AP discount this year - did I just get an awkward person or is this 100% applied? I remember getting it a few years ago

Re: The Merlin Annual Pass

Has any one else been really dissappointed by the AP discount on hotel rooms lately? I recently booked a room for splash and managed to save a whopping £4.60 on the online price using my AP :(

Re: chessington hotel

We stayed here a few weeks ago (got the AP rate and it worked out at £52 a night) and was really impressed. They made a balls up with the payment (was meant to be pay on arrival but they charged my card a week before we arrived) and as a result we got uprgraded to one of the executive suites, fairly...
