Re: The Future Of The Big Top

I would like to see a dark ride. More on the lines of Toyland Tours. Something like a jouney through a magical land of fariy tales. I know its sounds a bit cheesy but I think it will work.

I think a Victorian theme would still work well and i do not think it would put off families - even quite the opposite if there was street entertainment. It would probably appeal to foreign guests who would probably find it quite quirky and quintessentially British. The your day is a problem althou...

I would like to see a stunt show. With some great effects and some good actors. This could apeal towards a large aurtiance (Incoulding teens, adults, thrill seckers and famliys) A cheesy show fall of singing, dancing may not be very apealing towards our older vistiters. I think this could be a popul...

I think at the beginning and end of each day Towers St needs to be a bit spectacle.

What about having bubble or snow machines at the start?

A live music show at the end of the day?

Characters welcoming you, guides telling you where to go.

Why have guides when you have maps?

Problem is, the Victorian theme would just look too much. The area needs to be simple and appealing to all ages and types of people. I think Victorian theme would not appeal to the kids and younger adults. Towers street, in my opinion, needs to be fresh, cool and modern. Needs to be minimalistic an...

The reason why they have done this is so that it foesn't look like theres a theme clash with the flume and Mutiny bay. Its a rather poor stunt of Alton!

[/quote]Like you say Thomas has been going for years, but Charlie and the Chocolate Factory was built off the back of film hype about 3 years ago (which might not last). Cred Street in reality is poor, two of the attractions are no better than what you would find at a funfair, but the driving school...

Not once did i say Drayton Manor was Better than Alton Towers,I couldn't agree more, I said it caters more for toddlers which you will find out when you become a parent. As for cost of ride and copyright costs it would just be pocket money to them. Drayton managed to do it charging £23 a ticket, Al...

Pensonitly, I disagree with you there. Alton Towers do have some attractions that may appial towards toddlars. Rides like Driving school, Haves Ho, Squril nutty ride, Duges Deep, Charlie and the choctale factory, Tracter ride, The Bestie Ect. Plus bulding a ride based around a "Kids programe&qu...
