Re: Cedar Point

I know that there are definitely similar posts to this further back in this topic but has anyone done a trip from the UK (preferably from one of the London airports) that could tell me a little about how they arranged flights and how long they stayed, also if they did any other parks etc Thanks in ...

Re: PortAventura World

So I rode Red Force 3 times on Sunday and I think it may just be the best Strata yet. It might not have the punch out of the gate that Stealth has, or the raw speed of KK or TTD, but I loved the rolling launch and oh my word what air time. From the second you crest that top hat to the bottom of the...

Re: PortAventura World

The train takes just over an hour and is around €8-9 each way. The Spanish trains website is: http://www.renfe.com/EN/viajeros/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; (note the station name is Port Aventura, 2 words). I know RENFE isn't the most reliable, I got stuck for 45 minutes outside ...

Re: The Smiler Train Discussion

How on earth would they ensure rider safety if the trains do turn out to have lap bars? especially if you had riders who are particularly thin like myself? lol. It would however add a whole lot of fear and thrill to proceedings though.. I remember going on g force at Dayton manor when i just turned...

Re: Favourite Version of 'In the Hall of the Mountain King'?

My input may be viewed as biased as i am a pianist and like originals, hence my favourite is the edvard grieg rendition of it on solo piano, just epic at the end!  :D

Re: SW8 - B&M for the Air car park?

Most of the older vekomas are generally rough, however the millennium rollercoaster at fantasy island (made in 2000 obviously :p) is properly the smoothest rollercoaster iv ever been on

Re: The Smiler - Construction Discussion

I am sorry as I suspect this may not be the place for this and I doubt it would happen with this coaster but has anyone ever build a coaster which after all the testing was so far off the spec it didn't work? The best example I can think of is Maverick at Cedar Point. They had delay the opening to ...
