Re: SW8

Sorry I did not mean to doubt what you posted. I just think a b&m will unsuitable for the flume site. I'm sure what ever development they choose will have to have minimal effect on the woodland around the flume site.

Re: SW8

I'm not sure on sw8 being a b&m, there would have to be too much tree removal for clearance. I still think that a woodie is on the cards, it's what Alton are really missing in their line up. I hope it will be innovative (ground breaking) to build upon existing technology instead of creating a ne...

Re: SW8

I have always said to my wife and family that if they start to delay cancel up and coming developments Merlin would suffer long term. There would be no publicity to take the focus away from the smiler incident. Also I can imagine a lot of money has already been spent on any future plans that are in ...

Re: February Half Term 2016

I cant see the smiler opening up for FHT if it does not open before the end of this season. If it does re open this year then maybe. They could add in thirteen as an extra if air is closed.

Re: Ripsaw (and Blade) to be removed?

If Alton were to move Ripsaw surely they would recondition the ride at the same time. Just because it's old does not mean there are ways of moving it. I can't see merlin wanting to pay the money to buy a new model for x sector or whatever happens to the ride.

Re: RCT3 - Elmwood Lake Adventure Park (WITHOUT A WORD - 31st Mar)

Im loving the natural beauty of your park, it makes my latest project look rather bland, Im also working on a woodland park. You are choosing the right size rides for the park, like some parks where they build massive rides from the outset. This could be a superb park like said before almost like Do...

Re: RCT3 - New Theme Park & Hotel! 'SHOCKWAVE BAY'.

Nice build up so far! Well done mate.

Your teaser articles are a great way to build up a park, also the very detailed signage is amazing.

I cant wait to see the park.

Good show

Re: RCT3 Noob Park...

Hi mate Nice to see another Norwich fan within the forums. Where to begin! Best way to start is simple then expand on what you have started. When you become used to the CS sets etc move on to more complex projects. The way I start parks is to try and create a story, if you look at my parks they star...

Re: PortAventura 2012: B&M Coaster

This all sounding good. Im a bit gutted that the main lift will be behind DK as others have said it looks stunning as you aprach China from Mexico. I can see why PA would put the Hyper there as they can utilize the terrain for the out and back portion of the ride. If only the ride turns out the same...

Re: Funland Trocadero Forcibly Closed

Yeah it used to be Saga World, I remember the drop towers as this was the first one I went on and I have hated them since.

This is kinda sad news but the place did start to look run down last time I went.

Sorry if it is very wordy. 1845-The beginings of Clarnce Park Clarnce Park started off has a large a...

Re: Universal Orlando Resort: 2011 Discussion

Reading this post is interesting as Im going to Florida for my honeymoon in Sept. The rumors about LC does not suprise me at all as it almost seems as its add on to the rest of the IP themes to the rest of the park. I will be sad to see it go as it was superb when I went in 2006. Apart from the Poss...

Re: Merlin VS "Sue"-niversal

I dont see a problem in the name, International Drive is known as I Drive and Merlins name could be a new idea to the Americans to actually walk. :P This with the two site may give the Americans a hint on what thier legs are for!
