Re: Alton Towers Resort - Quick Questions

Hey everyone - do you know if there's a way to get tickets when they are sold out online for a certain date? Thanks! Buying tickets through the Resort website is the only way to guarantee your entry for a specific day. If you are a Passholder, there may be Twilight tickets available on the day you ...

Re: Alton Towers Rollercoaster Phobia

I know this is an old post. I'm terrified of rides and can only do the RMT and want to do Thirteen. Is the first drop as steep and big as it seems? It is fairly steep but it isn’t very big. There’s also a trim brake on the drop that takes some of the momentum out of it, so it’s nothing to be worrie...

Few more newspaper articles today claiming to be looking at 'UK's Disneyland' and showing the rides. Anyone know if there has been any leaked, actual plans, submitted for any rides?

At this stage no planning applications have been submitted.

Re: Alton Towers Resort - Quick Questions

I am thinking of going to the park tomorrow or Wednesday to do the Scarefest thing hopefully before the schools break up. With limited numbers what are the queue times like during Scarefest (this year), would there be any fast track passes available after 4pm? How much are they (heard about £10!). ...

Re: Chessington - Quick Questions

As has already been mentioned, the parks have different allocations for day tickets and passholder pre-books. More MAP tickets have been known to be released at the last minute if there are a decent number of day tickets left for a specific day, but there’s no way of guaranteeing when/if it’ll happe...

Re: Chessington - Quick Questions

We brought our merlin passes recently but haven't been able to book up a slot for a day trip as its always booked up BUT you can still go if you're paying for a standard day ticket! I didn't pay all that money to not be able to g...

Re: Alton Towers Resort - Quick Questions

Hi Guys :) I'm sure this would have been answered already, but the new(ish) Hotel entrance next to Extraordinary Golf says it's only open in the morning? I've booked a short stay in October and wondered with the Monorail out of action, do Hotel guests need to walk back from the main entrance to the...

Re: Alton Towers Resort - Quick Questions

Hi, I’m due to go to the park this week and have read some reviews that state the back of the park is open an hour later than the front of the park. Is this still the case because we will be staying at a resort hotel and entering the park through the back entrance at Forbidden Valley. Will this be ...

Re: Alton Towers Resort - General Discussion

Is anyone else disappointed with how few season/annual pass holder tickets are available? I can still book a full price ticket for today but if I want to use my season pass the earliest I can go is a week on Monday. It isn’t ideal by any means. It seems they haven’t got the allocation for passholde...

Hi all, I have been trying to book tickets with my Merlin pass for Chessington World of Adventures today but when I enter my pass details it says there is no space till next month but when I try and book tickets without passes paying full price it shows there is space. Th13teen is indeed open, as the Resort have confirmed it on their social media channels. As for how they’ve managed to get ...

Re: Parking garages next to main entrance?

In a nutshell, this will never happen. For the amount of cars that the Resort gets on a peak day, a sizeable multi-storey would be required. Remember, the Resort can’t build anything that would be seen from outside the boundary of the park, and given the location you’ve mentioned is at the very edge...

Re: Scarefest - General Discussion

Any speculation whether Scarefest is going ahead this year? Because of COVID-19 etc... I hope it does but I'm not sure how a social distanced Scare Maze would work? Especially if Sub Species will stay. Scarefest is still being advertised as going ahead, however no details have been released around ...
