Re: Project 2020

If there were to be a major attraction in 2020, we would have seen a planning application go in by now.

Re: Thorpe Park Resort - General Discussion

I’m not sure why people are thinking these latest social posts by Thorpe are anything to do with anything beyond this season?

It’s quite clear to me that, whatever they are in relation to, will be held this season. The fact that both of the posts reference 2019 (not 2020) pretty much confirm that ;)

Re: Project 2020

I highly doubt these latest social “teasers” by Thorpe are in any way related to any potential installations for 2020.

Re: Loggers Leap - Officially Retired

I’m disappointed, but not at all surprised by this.

Given how Loggers has essentially been left to rot, it would have taken time and money to restore it to an operational state, resources which Merlin clearly weren’t willing to allocate to the attraction.

RIP Loggers

Re: The Future of Spinball Whizzer (Cbeebies Land Expansion?)

If it isn't sold, I would like to see it rethemed to CBeebies Land, so it dosen't have to leave and it means CBeebies could take over Adventure Land. Not sure what character would get there own coaster but you never know... I’m not sure that would happen. Spinball is a bit too thrilling for the gen...

Re: The Future of Sonic Spinball

I strongly believe that Spinball’s days are numbered, and when it does go, CBeebies Land will be extended to occupy the land where Spinball currently sits.

Re: Galactica - General Discussion

I do like the Galactia theme, but work is needed to enhance the rides capacity! I have a solution: remove the VR. They’ve had three seasons to get it working correctly, and they’ve failed. I can’t even bare to join the queue line anymore unless the ride is walk-on. They’ve created a level of faff t...

We did nothing :sus:

I’m quite surprised that they’re going to such lengths with maintenance on The Blade, especially when you consider how close we came to losing it a couple of years ago.

Re: The Smiler - General Discussion

I think I actually dislike every single aspect of this ride. :lol Blasphemy! I do still like The Smiler, but there are elements of it that need attention. The biggest thing for me is the fact it needs a good clean as the queue line and station building were in very poor condition at the end of last...
