Went to the Waterpark today, there is a box on the side of the entrance to the rush slide where you select an option. I selected the ITHOTMK and all that happened was it played (very quietly) but there was no interactive lights or anything. Nice that they've added something new but a little bit of a...
Has anyone ever been given any freebies from Alton Towers? Perhaps biscuits at the exit, free fast passes for ride breakdowns etc. Post yours below. I've had 4 free fastracks for The Smiler from Alton Towers Twitter for my fiance's birthday. And also 4 free waterpark tickets to use between Nov 2014 ...
We had car number 3.1 on Friday when we rode The Smiler. I was sat on the back row, far left. I didn't find the ride itself rough personally, however you can feel it jolting about underneath you, and after the indoor inversion you don't half hear a massive 'clunk' at the back. Would be worrying to s...

40 minutes for Air. I budget my time when I go so I avoid queues and I hate queues. Always go when the park isn't busy too. Haven't queued more than 5 minutes for The Smiler yet.
I'm going to the park in two weeks for the hotel and waterpark offer. Does anyone know if any bus services still go to Alton during closed season? Don't fancy getting the taxis again (although the company I used last time for £19 each way were very good).
Quick question from a MAP virgin. Used it last week at Birmingham Sea Life, great afternoon. Anyway, the 20% off - what does it cover (I know it covers food/drink/merchandise), but where do you get 20% off, which attractions does anyone know? Would be useful to know before going to Warwick Castle ne...
The reason I ask is because we are arriving at 7.21am and will want to get there to check in with the hotel and get there in time for ERT. We will get the bus back on the 15th, so would just be one way in the taxi. Isn't the 14th the first weekday of scarefest so there is no ERT, park opens at 10am...
Hey, Desperately need help with this. Coming on the 14th and arriving at 7.21am at Stoke station. Does anybody have any decent taxi numbers that will take us to the park? The big question is how much are taxis from the station to Alton Towers and how long does it roughly take? Thanks in advance, Adam.
