Re: Alton Towers Hotel & Splash Landings

Is it me or have the hotel rates gone through the roof this year?
Just been quoted £243 for a room in the Alton towers hotel, B&B excluding park tickets! For a quiet Monday night outside of term time!!! Really??

Re: Drayton Manor

Has anybody heard of Drayton's New offering for this season as I can only see of a new (second hand) film for the 4D cinema. Or, is this the anticipated calm before a major investment next year?

Re: Drayton Manor

Made a long overdue visit to Drayton last week, Two things to mention, Drayton's "Mississippi show boat" that last been being laying retired for a number of years has now left the park with its foundations still visible from the lake, Also to mention that they are constructing a "high...

Re: Towers Loving Care

The TLC going on in the resort is outstanding! Way beyond my personal expectations! One area I would love to see give some TLC is the Pagoda Fountain, for many years now this has not been working and is in major need of some serious TLC even maybe some structural work, as a child I used to love pass...

Re: Ride Closures/Removals in 2016

Gutted to see the removal of ripsaw!
I wished the towers had advised its guests of the forthcoming removal to allow its fans to have "their last ride" on her! :(

Re: The Merlin Annual Pass

Always a answer for everything! Let's face it, merlin are tightening there belt, I've seen many people take advantage of using there pass in the woodcutters and both hotels (especially at night) if merlin wanted to cut down on binge drinking they wouldn't first have it for sale on the park and secon...

Re: The Merlin Annual Pass

Yes, it may be a loophole in the law, however it is very misleading to label it as a sale

Re: The Merlin Annual Pass

My Personal opion on this matter in what has been conducted is misleading. Increases have been made days before a sale and not in a legal time frame to warrant it as a actual sale item. It may be worth a email to trade descriptions or trading standards if u wish to re new this year as I'm sure they ...
