Re: X - SECTOR Retheme Ideas?

All re - themes are all to gloomy don't you think? Brown or black as the main colour, only themed area thats bright and happy is Cloud Cuckoo Land! X -Sector = Black, Dark Forest = Brown/Black, Forbidden Valley = Brown. Well Spinball sticks out as colourful however there is not much themeing there. ...

Re: What's The Best Flat Ride For Alton In The Future?

^ Dragon Khan has been quite rough lately! :D

I would love to see a Maelstrom (DP) and a Boneshaker in Dark Forest. Both great rides and COULD be themed thoroughly and correctly.

Re: Kids buggy you loan from Guest services.

They are a bit on the pricey side but still worth using them instead of taking your own. There is a small storage compartment underneath the handles for a nappy, phone, park map etc. Something small basically. You could also but something on top as it is very sturdy and won't harm the child inside (...

Re: General Resort Updates - 2010

Same but now the duck is static the light is always on showing the mechanical elements that used to power the movement. Looks quite shabby, maybe this is showing that the the flume is due to be replaced soon? I can only hope...

Re: Space Fantasy: Universal Studios Japan

What a ride! Maybe one of these (obviously smaller and themed accordingly) in the Black Hole tent? I'm sure Merlin can reach that quality of themeing and thrillness! (13 a prime example). Did that space use to hold E.T? Also does anyone know who composed the music? Those cars really do look they cam...

Re: General Resort Updates - 2010

I know :( but families come first! (*cough 13 a prime example *cough)

Also the audio on the indoor section has been made much more louder to try at scare you because of the duck's static position.

Re: General Resort Updates - 2010

All of the que line TV's work! (Yey! :P :D) They are currently showcasing ad's and most oftenly 13 adverts. (Extended ones with car ad's etc in the middle and blip ads somewhere inbetween them). Re: The Future of The Flume

^^ Great idea however a water coaster would be way more thrilling, maybe as their next big new coaster (this could be great use of the marketing department! - OVER HYPE I MEAN!). But still using a similar layout as ^^ (Link - http://www.intaminworldwide.com/iag/index.php?option=com_content&task=...

Re: Oblivion - The Future Ride...

I think most people realise that oblivion is not special anymore after 12 years in operation. But what can they do with it? Rip it out? It will leave one hell of a channel underground and a big hole. (which they could make into a memorial?) Landscaping would cost a bomb to build another new ride on ...

Re: What is next to go?
honestly I can see Sonic Spinball being sold in the near future (2015 maybe) as it is just an 'off the shelf' ride,
Spinball was custom designed therefore not being a 'off the shelf' ride if you will. I think beastie, submission, re vamp of x sector and then spinball going to cypruss ...

I suppose this move is a good move however what's left that they could choose from? Animation childrens tv show wise... Thomas at Drayton, Dennis at Chessington, (R.I.P - But it has already happened) but what about Bob The Builder? He is more popular than Peppa Pig nervertheless i am not sure if it ...

Re: New flats for Dark Forest?

Actually there is a lot less room left in the Dark forest then was originally predicted. The only way they could fit a decent flat ride seems to be if they reduced Rita's cattle pen queue. But they are still limited by height because of Rita. A tracked ride on the other hand might have a bit more r...
