Re: New Flats Ideas?

I love Twirling Toadstool too. Seems much more fun now its been rethemed and moved.
Always make sure I get a good go on there, plus I like the ride op, he sounds like he should host his own radio station. :)

Re: New Flats Ideas?

The lineup is by no means "pathetic" but I agree there needs to be some new flat ride, personally like to see a flat ride return to FV where Lava Lump now stands.
In fact, Dynamo return would be nice..

Re: Quick Questions 2010

Ye p - big enough for one person I'd say. Problem is - it leads to huge queues at outlets for people refilling, especially in hot weather. Towers only ever seem to have 1 person working on thoise kiosks, but two tills available.

Based on this photo, Rita!
No, I'm only kidding, but seriously hope they found the offending duff wheel - this was sat on the floor under the launch straight today.

Re: Show Us Your Motor

Its hard to believe that the Mini on the right was produced in 2001, one of the last on the final production run. It's such a dinky little thing. Yes it actually looks the new mini look huge when of course it isn't by today's standards. Your family a bit of Mini fans I take it then? Oh and check ou...

Re: Show Us Your Motor

@Kryn What sort of economy do you get out of that? I look at Parkers for figures on these powerful turbo'd petrol cars and always think they're somewhat optimistic? I know some of these these figures can be achieved, but I guess if you have a GTI you're right foot is a little heavy? ;) I managed to ...

Re: Show Us Your Motor

Nice Caz - really puts into perspective the size difference between the old and the new.
Yup the Cooper is pretty rapid - never driven one but heard from lots of people how good the handling is. :)

Re: Rollercoaster Failures

@Sam

Now that looks a very impressive coaster at first sights - a bit like Goudurix. But, I can imagine, as with Goudurix, you'd come off it needing to see the osteopth and to have your neck muscles replaced.

Re: Lightwater Valley 18th July with a 1 Hour ERS!

Hi Sam We've established some good relationships with parks, particularly the independents. Tickets are now only £11.95 when using the official Lightwater Valley discount voucher - just print, and bring with you. Excellent value when you consider it includes a lovely 1 hour ERS. :) If you're plannin...

Lightwater Valley 18th July with a 1 Hour ERS!

Perhaps this is one for those that haven't just gone to the mini-meet? Or maybe you did and you just want to go again! I know it's over a month away, but if people are wanting to attend, I need to know in advance for our ERS - very excited. :D OK, here's the gubbins: Date: Sunday July 18th 2010 Time...

There will never be a paid for maze in the park, all attractions come as part of your ticket. The only money contribution to an attraction in the park is through fastrack. :) [/color] Hhm remember Splashkats though or whatever those pay-per-play boats were called where Battle Galleons now stands :?...

Re: What will they take away from the park in the next 5 years?

Hey Blaze Yup, I agree with what you say there entirely if I'm honest, which is why I've not bothered to cover it until now. Three sources from the park, one at management level who we've known for some time. Who's to say it's not some twisted PR thing descended from senior management, or a case of ...

They've just refurbed them (1 shuttle remaing) but yeah, that'd look OK - tohugh don't think Joe Public would notice when dipping out at 70mph? :?
