Re: Alton Towers Resort - Staff and Recruitment

I've got an interview for TP tomorrow but guessing its the same as AT recruitment, do they tell you the job offer result on the day? I've applied for a seasonal role to work over summer so I assume it has to be soon. Tah :)

Re: Six Flags General Discussion

In regards to SFMM, does anybody know why Riddler's Revenge is closed and when it will re-open? I'm going SFMM on 13th August, will it be open by then?

Re: The Future Of Charlie And The Chocolate Factory; The Rid

I don't know if this source is 100% true, but a very sweet elderly lady in the ATH gift shop this weekend told me that there are some definite closures this season. She said Charlie, the Driving School and Wobble World are all permanently closed now. I asked if she had any idea what the plans are an...

Re: Saw - The Ride

Guys I'm a bit baffled not gonna lie. I went to Thorpe on Fright Night this year and I rode Saw: The Ride twice. I normally really dislike Saw (kill me if u want lol) but this time was different. It was SO much smoother. Like did anyone else notice this? I even asked a ride op is it me or is this sm...

Re: Thorpe Park - General Discussion

Hey all,
I made a trip to thorpe park yesterday and noticed a couple things I hadn't noticed before...
1. There is a little section of Colossus' inline twists that has been painted, is this testing for a repaint?
2. Th13teen's music was playing in the swarm queue line, which was odd tbh

Re: Derren Brown's Ghost Train - New for 2016

I was on site today and at around 5pm they were testing the music outside the ride. It sounded pretty cool ngl but it was torture not being able to go inside... ](*,)

Re: Alton Towers - General Discussion

Someone on Facebook suggested that Blade was being moved to X-sector to fill Submission's old plot area but I assume that this is just a rumour with no concrete evidence as that doesn't make sense with the timing or the age of the ride. Would be nice though! I think The Blade's plot is wayyyy to bi...

Re: 2015-2019: Possible Developments?

Although The Blade is not on the 2015 map, if you look on the Alton Towers website The Blade now has a height restriction of 1.3m. I don't recall this last time I went (July 2014) so could this be suggesting that they are keeping The Blade shut for the majority of 2015 (Therefore deciding to remove ...

Re: Thorpe Park - New Indoor Attraction 2016

I just want the ride to be good :( I will be so disappointed in TP if they don't create a brilliant ride for 2016... Thorpe Park havent added anything brilliant since The Swarm! Even that was a bit of a let down... I mean, Crash Pad/Thorpe Shark Hotel, Angry Birds Land; all of these additions were s...

X:/ No Way Out Puke Issues

Hey guys! I was on my way out of X the other day and me and my brother were talking about going on Stealth next and an X ride engineer came out of the mech bay (I got to see it and it looked pretty cool). He said 'Better get there quick, that ride gets so busy'. He then started talking to us about h...

Re: Funny Things You've Overheard at Parks

Idk. But. I was in Cyprus and I was at a water park and there is a ride called 'Drop to Atlantis' these 2 people said 'look there is no line' so they ran up the steps a went to the top. The funny thing is, is that I don't think they realised you needed a dingy. And that the queue for the dingy's wh...

Re: Fastrack Queues at Fright Nights

Thanks for the replies! I was also wondering how much the scare mazes are this year? If they haven't been announced yet, what were last years? And what is the recommended age limit? That sucks about colossus but thanks for letting me know about the exit thing, I wouldn't have known about that haha

Re: Florida Help Please

I can't remember what website we got these from, but we bought two different packs of tickets for every person in our family. It got us into like every park and even Busch Gardens in Tampa. YOU MUST GO TO BUSCH GARDENS, EVEN THOUGH IT DOES TAKE 2 HOURS TO GET FROM ORLANDO.

Fastrack Queues at Fright Nights

Hello all! I'm visiting Thorpe Park on 18-19th October 2014. My mum has purchased the Ultimate Fastrack for me and my brother for the 18th and having visited Thorpe Park on 29th July 2014 and used single fastpasses, I still had to queue about 10 minutes for each ride. At Fright Night, i'm guessing i...

Re: Slammer

It's a trerribly designed ride in every aspect. I completely disagree with that. Its a brilliantly designed ride but its very complex. I also found out that they close it halfway through the day for about an hour or so for maintenance. Pretty amazing at how the park are willing to keep it up and ru...
