The original queue was definitely being used at Fireworks last year to my memory too, I do miss Duel live though!

Re: Th13teen trimmed yet again?

The only place you could really get a photo from would be (possibly) the Skyride, given its posiiton on the ride.

Literally imagine the bit of metal in that ORP but larger and under the track :P

It's BARELY visible, anyway, but that's what has been declared to my knowledge (unless anyone knows anything to the contrary? :))

Re: Nemesis: Sub-Terra Discussion (**contains spoilers**)

Afraid visible op cabin is here to stay, folks - Towers's H&S having their wicked way :( Anyways, Sub Terra 2.0 is ASTOUNDING. I was so so impressed with all the improvements and additions, there's very little I can't say which hasn't already been said but it is one SOLID attraction now, and rea...

Diamond Jubilee Discussion - are you celebrating?

A fantastic night was had by me, AstroDan, Pedro, Mike and Alex being raucous and surprisingly patriotic at the same time.

What a show! Apart from Cheryl Cole (predictably dire) and JLS, I loved the line-up, and hell, it even endeared me slightly more to the Lord Lloyd-Webber!

Re: Nemesis: Sub-Terra Discussion (**contains spoilers**)

They have been dropping the same since open day, hence why they all do the little finishing thud when they're released one at a time :)

Towers Steet Fastpass?

I have to say though, other than for the person in the van and a bunch of geeks in the Towers Suite, I think the Ice Cream Van audio is really really good - like the van itself it's a quirky themed touch, and most people will only hear it a few times, would be unusual to stand in that area of Towers...

Re: Nemesis: Sub-Terra Discussion (ATTRACTION CLOSED 20-25 MAY)

Experiment Ten is the only experience yet to have me absolutely petrified. I know reviews have differed between individuals, but Rob and I were given the most harrowing run through it! Roll on Sunday :)! Sent from my HTC Desire using Tapatalk And me and a certain AstroDan were clinging to eachother...

Re: 2012 operational cuts

Oh I'm not saying that any management are without fault, or not out of touch with their park at times (see: finding out about Picsolve price rises from TTF), but in this situation I definitely believe that Merlin are the ones to blame.

Re: 2012 operational cuts

That's because that's what's going on: changes are being forced by the parent company against the will of management at the park...if anything the colonial superpower analogy, if a little extreme, is alright :P

Re: 2012 operational cuts

Another victory for Towers management against Merlin methinks, and a brilliant and detailed response from Mr Crabbe - the fact that this trial was called off so soon is very praiseworthy :D

Re: Sub Terra v2 MINI MEET: Sunday, 27th May 2012

Forgetting exams, I'd love love love to be there but I *THINK* I'll be a Eurovision party on the Saturday, and Sunday transport is just impossible.

If the party doesn't happen, we'll see :P

Nemesis: Sub-Terra Discussion (ATTRACTION CLOSED 20-25 MAY)

And aside from it being an utterly absurd idea, there's also the fact that no-one would be able to pay for anything as they wouldn't yet have their bags back!

Re: Nemesis: Sub-Terra Discussion (ATTRACTION CLOSED 20-25 MAY)

The combination of the added space given by the shipping container and ALL the unused space from the lift exits onward which was already there should give ample room for new additions to the experience, and with new actors just employed and new hands at the helm of Ents, it should be interesting to ...

Re: Nemesis: Sub-Terra Discussion (ATTRACTION CLOSED 20-25 MAY)

From TowersTimes News: As reported on TowersTimes last week, Nemesis Sub-Terra is closed this week to allow for planned maintenance and improvements.  It is thought the ride's manufacturer, ABC Rides are onsite tweaking the ride system, but reports this week suggest even more could be in store....

That's a brilliant move in a climate where more and more companies are stacking up ridiculous booking/"admin" fees against everything! Yay positivity! :)
