Re: Scarefest: 16-31 October 2010

I know. I joined this forum to discuss possibilities but I feel as an unknown on here my ideas are thrown out immediately but if you're a known member then any idea goes. Anyway, rant over, don't want to fill the forum with nonsense. From what I have seen of the tent it is at least twice as big as l...

Re: Scarefest: 16-31 October 2010

I would like to take this opportunity to thank regular posters on here. I post a piece of information on here that was given to me the other day by a member of staff while I was at the park, this is how I knew about the clowns, and this goes ignored and when it is picked up on I get accused of troll...

Re: Scarefest: 16-31 October 2010

Where has this rumour of the bar in the mazes come from? A little silly considering the location being 100 yards away from a bar that I believe most people on here have been to at least once! Will the carnival be affected by today's protest? In terms of owl costumes, they can be a nightmare if home ...

Re: Scarefest: 16-31 October 2010

I have been following this on my phone today, hence the update about the clowns at the Resort entrance, and I have been told by a staff member that the Boiler House will be situated in Splash Landing basement, below the Waterpark. Interesting stuff.

Re: The Merlin Annual Pass

Just a note...if it is a Tesco Annual Pass voucher you will need confirmation of your name. I collected mine on Saturday and used a voucher of my mother and as she has a different surname, which was printed on the voucher, i was not allowed to make use of this with out excahnge confirmation from tes...

Re: A day in the life of a park drain. Or lack of!

I also hate it when I go for days out in major cities. When it rains it is really annoying how it drips from things and forms puddles!

Ok sorry. I only wanted to know if had been confirmed or not. Thanks for clearing that up.

Why would the staff know less than people on here?

Re: New Flats Ideas?

I haven't read the whole topic but is this in relation to the 5 year plan exhibition that was displayed at the hotel the other year where they said they would build additional accomodation? There must be things like Caravans or camp sites that are a better alternative to flats? This just makes me th...

Re: The Ultimate Fireworks: 5-7 November 2010

I remember seeing a few posts on this topic a few weeks back which have dissapeared/been deleted. Is there any development/news on the rumour that around the theme park there would be area specific firework displays? I think it was mentioned that Oblivion would have fireworks coming through the hole...

Re: Scarefest: 16-31 October 2010

Well we're all talking clowns. Another good PR job.

The lighting and photo quality are far too high for this to be stock google imagery. This is of a quality that nobody would allow free transfer of via google images.

It's a fantastic photo and AT also used it on their facebook page. I wonder where it is from. I would say it's a professional shot.

Re: Early rider and discount vouchers

Also, by driving people to buy from altontowers.com it enables viewers to see other products such as annual passes and potentially upgrade.

Speaking of which are annual passes worth it? I'm debating investing in a couple for me and my 13 year old son.

Re: Morwenna Angove set to leave Alton Towers Resort?

I love that despite a large proportion calling the stunts silly the fact they are so heavily discussed on here clearly shows that they are a huge success. Visitors to the theme park are not the driving success. The stories make people visit AT online to find out more and then maybe people who do vis...

it is a fantastic logo and as this topic seems to be drifting off in to what may become viewed as mocking someone who may be a poster with disabilities. I hope people read that as a defence of the poster rather than a mocking view. I just feel the need to respect certain peoples posts as human natur...
