Quality answer on the Haunted House. Real piece of Towers History there. Good Question Bill. Though I am dying to hear his opinion on Duel...

Re: Air's Military concepts

Interesting finds, where did these come from? Certainly would have been much more interesting if they had gone with these. I always thought they should use those bird things from mutant racers more prominently. That airship in the second picture seems to be the one from Discoveryland at Disneyland P...

Re: Disneyland Paris: Villages Nature Project

That sure is good news. Animal Kingdom has such an authentic feel about it, I love walking just walking round there and taking it all in. That's what Disney is all about.

I'm hoping to see the return of The Adventures of Lord Left to Alton's extra dimensional arena

Re: Disneyland Paris: Villages Nature Project

Some nice new renderings have shown up today, including one of a cool looking arctic-themed water park:

Re: Shrek attraction for 2011?

If this is true then I say fair play to Dreamworks. Shrek 3D is a high quality attraction with a great pre show. If Alton aren't gonna do it justice then they shouldn't even bother. Sadly, this looks set to be yet another chapter in the 'UK parks just aren't willing to go that extra mile' saga. Big ...

Re: Busch Gardens Africa Project 2011

Certainly looks like it'll be an interesting experience. The worlds been beginning for a launch coaster thats more than just a launch coaster. However, Cheetah Hunt is the worst name ever. It needs a cool African name like the rest of the big coasters at Busch.

Re: Probably the best photo of Nemesis ever taken

Not forgetting fotowhizz, the website is awesome with lots of good content. Including this nemesis photo: http://www.fotowhizz.com/alton/nemesis/024.htm - Compare the two. Re: Air Tunnel

I went on Manta a few months ago and the floor looked exactly the same Tatsu's. Yellow and Black markings and all. They must have changed it since that photo was taken.

Re: Air Tunnel

I'm not keen on the grooves. Manta has them and while it is an absolutely fantastic coaster, Air's boarding method is far cooler. But then, y'know rubbish tunnel. So if it just had the concrete grooves and no sound and light maybe the fact that the tunnel is bare wouldn't bother us all that much.

Re: TTF Euro Coaster Poll 2010-11: GROUP 1, ROUND 4: VOTE NOW!

The National all the way. Along with Nemesis its a coaster I feel I inherited a love of from my father. Its rare I have a conversation with anyone about coasters and The Grand National doesn't rear its wooden head. Its a national institution, a grand national institution, ahaha. I feel I would be do...

Re: Air Tunnel

I tells thee, blue lights and mist a la Nemesis Inferno: jobs a good 'un. Also, just looked at the original theming concept art for the for first time over at Towers Almanac. Cripes (that's right; cripes . Deal with it 8) ), the actual outcome really was quite a let down. The water features certainl...

Re: Disneyland Paris: Villages Nature Project

It would have been amazing if they'd built the originally planned indoor/outdoor Lava Lagoon water park. It looked fantastic from the plans. I wish Disney would build more water parks. Typhoon Lagoon is so immersive and authentic feeling.

Re: The John Wardley Interview - Submit Your Questions NOW!

Go on then, I've got a couple more. You mention on your website that you've always aspired to Disney and were influenced by Big Thunder Mountain in particular. Did you ever consider working for Walt Disney Imagineering? Also, Do you think we'll ever see another major theme park in the UK and if so w...

Re: Air Tunnel

Y'know, with just some mist and blue lights would have been great. The last time I rode Nemesis Inferno the tunnel at the beginning was just a dark concrete tunnel. No red lights, no mist. But that was the first time I'd seen the effects off and realised that it was just a bog standard concrete tunn...
