Re: Thorpe Park Resort - General Discussion

How many times have you been in that Jungle Escape room? Is it still active? I've been through Jungle Escape 3 times. Twice as part of a preview, where my posted images came from, and once as a paid for customer (well, Dom paying :) ). Jungle Escape is currently scheduled to remain open until Septe...

Re: THE LEGO MOVIE World - 2021

I think this will be a great addition to the park if it gets approved. As people have said, The LEGO movie has been huge so it makes logical sense that they introduce it to the park. Plus it kind of feels like it could be a more grown up area of the park with a few rides for the bigger, but young ki...

Today, Hershey Park announced Candymonium, a B&M Hyper coaster. It will be the tallest, fastest and longest coaster at the park. at 210 ft tall and reaching speeds of uptp 76mph, it looks like it will be a great addition to the park.  https://scontent-lht6-1.xx.fbcdn.net/v/t1.0-9/67390606_101563...

Re: Fright Nights

No matter how hard I try, I just can't get enthusiastic about this year's Fright Nights line up. I hope for the park it's a success and I'm sure it is, but I just feel that the current mazes are very stale and repetitive. I'm sorry Thorpe, but at the moment I have nothing telling me to visit!

Re: Flamingo Land

It's not the best picture as I failed to get any of the actual area when I visited last weekend, but if you look closely you can see groundwork has already started on their new coaster.

Re: Tulley's Shocktoberfest

Tulleys announced that 2 new attractions will be at the scream park this year as well as the return of all but 1. The Colony did not appear on the list, but it is apparently going to be given a new theme this year.

IMAScore may have accidentally given us an opening date in a Facebook post. The date they have quoted is 19th May 2020. I must admit, I think this looks so good!

It's a good looking visual, so let's hope this years event is a lot better than last years, though lets be honest, it won't be hard to beat last years.

Re: Looking to make friends

Hello fellow southerner. I think many of us who are active on here are or were in the same boat. Before I found TTSP I had no friends. The great thing about this community is that there is usually someone around to have a chat with or someone planning on visiting a park. The events do take a leap of...

Re: Food & Beverages

Food options at all the Merlin Parks are quite dull really. It’s basic, cheap food that they can make a profit on and doesn’t require any skill to make/reheat. It’s such a shame that the food options are so terrible. Theme parks are supposed to be fun places where even the food should be magical, bu...

Re: Thorpe Park Resort - General Discussion

Bouncezilla is everything you’d expect from it. It’s fun but my god is it exhausting! I got half way round and I was dead. It’s such a fun thing for the park to have and I recommend that people go and give it a go. Jungle Escape is a weird one. It’s like two separate attractions merged together. The...

Re: Thorpe Park Resort - General Discussion

I'm very excited to have a go on Bouncezilla and Jungle Escape. They are both totally different ideas for a theme park to add and I have to give Thorpe some credit for trying something new. Jungle Escape looks like its had a lot of care and attention with the way it looks and hopefully the puzzles a...
