Re: TowersTimes Forum SW7

The fact that you view the scenario as 'funny' shows how immature this whole idea is. If we're honest, it's a stab at TowersStreet in that way (yep, that's right, I said it - the Site-That-Must-Not-Be-Named). Nobody has stolen pictures, you're just being selfish. It's like a bunch of toddlers who wo...

Re: 2014-2019: Possible Developments?

If the entertainment complex gets built, I believe it's vastly likely that a third hotel could be built. There is not yet a budget option at the Towers, something that the Long Term Development Plan talks about. The lodges won't be cheap; they're described as 'luxury' and are set to be properly them...

Re: 2014-2019: Possible Developments?

2013: X-Sector spruce up, SW7, Enterprise renovation. 2014: Phase one of lodges, two new family additions (as confirmed by Towers, can't find the source now). 2015: Phase two of the lodges, replacement of Ripsaw or Blade. 2016: Entertainment on resort expansion, replacement of The Flume. 2017: Cross...

Re: TowersTimes Forum SW7

Just because other forums restrict access doesn't mean that it's right.  I find it difficult to believe that this will help in the long term. Around 80% of people won't bother signing up and will instead boost other site's traffic by continuing to search them for images, and of the 20% t...

Re: TowersTimes Forum SW7

That is a terrible, terrible idea. Fair enough, prevent re-use of photos. That I can understand. But you're essentially doing this to boost up numbers in the forums. I find it hard to respect that. Sorry, but I feel that this place is getting worse and worse. What happened to sharing the fun? It sad...

Re: Future Developments

Of course you were! I do appear a little condescending so for that I sincerely apologize. You all have much more experience than me and I'm in no position to judge. I have no wish to 'shoot you down', but surely you agree that the quality of discussion has deteriorated since the loss of the old memb...

It's not technically wooden, the track is steel. Still, very aesthetically pleasing. :)

Re: Future Developments

'The Terminator', although I am sure you're not, your posts in this thread make you sound very bitter. Homophobic, derogatory statements such as those referring to the team members (who actually made this site, that you appear to be taking for granted) do not impress anybody. However, Chris-TT, you ...

Re: Future Developments

This place is like a ghost town now. Instead of pretending that they're being innovative and new, the team should just admit that the forum needs knocking down and rebuilding on a much smaller scale. The mass walkout has essentially killed all debating and discussion, and it's pretty futile to try a...

Re: Best Movie Soundstracks

Can't believe nobody has mentioned 'The Lion King' by Hans Zimmer. Classic score. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2IS3v6EtMhE The entire of this takes me to the heart of Africa - a beautiful and deep soundtrack to accompany a modern classic. The last 40 seconds or so are simply amazing. :D Also in ne...

Re: Walt Disney World General Discussion

I'd have thought that anything Lion King related would make far more sense at Animal Kingdom? That's what I meant, sorry. There are just too many American parks to get my head round. They're all either Six Flags this, Busch Gardens that, Disney this or Universal that - with SeaWorld etc. thr...

Re: RCT Quick Questions

Does anyone know if you can download the Europa Park CTs seperately or is it one big download? I want the nice Geisterschloss (or whatever it is :D ) on the nice guided tour track, and I know it's in the download. I just don't want all the other CTs clogging up my system. The Pegasus/Matterhorn Blit...

Re: Scarefest 2012

Let's not get ahead of ourselves. This is Merlin we're talking about - expect Tesco props and homemade costumes. ;)

In all honesty I'd love to see some form of a scary parade. It'd be cool with floats and lighting - and would actually become a direct equivalent of Disney for the UK.

Re: Flamingoland Trip Report 26/5/12

I believe the loading system they employ on Velocity is somewhat unrivalled in terms of sheer stupidity. ;) The staff seem really very ignorant to the nature of the rides. Hitting rides with sticks is not going to increase their safety. Seems like they still have problems to sort before they expand ...

Re: Poland trip May 2012

Thanks for your in-depth updates, it's certainly been an eye opener for me. I always knew of the tragedies that Poland has suffered yet it seems like a very cultural and vibrant place, with lots to offer. The trip must've been very harrowing, especially at Auschwitz. I've heard so much from people w...

Re: TTF sex scandal!

Couldn't agree more with this. I'm 100% straight but I just find it ridiculous that a drunken chav can get some girl pregnant, marry her and spend the rest of his life beating her up - yet two intelligent and caring individuals who have been together for years and years can't get that piece of paper...

Bit harsh. I think that Air and Th13teen have unqiue and intriguing layouts.

I'm praying that with the whole Avatar-land mess they'll build a Lion King style area in Magic Kingdom. http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_guLylzYs7Mk/TMDpLXcmaVI/AAAAAAAAAZA/Gq-nJBIZpQM/s1600/lion-king-ride1_kparrish33.jpg http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_guLylzYs7Mk/TMDpLBFGFII/AAAAAAAAAY4/qTH-bL17yco/s1600/lion-...

Re: Will theme parks go the way of seaside funparks?

I live by the sea, and it takes me roughly 25 minutes to get to Flamingo Land. I agree that the maintenance and staff iare poor aspects, but it has drowned planning for pleasure parks in nearby Bridlington, Whitby & Scarborough. Proving success. These parks couldn't be built due to "local c...
