The ride pulled posative 6.2 G during the pretzel loop, that, along with the Tower of Terror at Gold Reef Park (SBNO) were the most intense coaster's around, Moonsault Scrabble was removed and melted down in 2000. Keep in mind some of the travelling Schwarzkopf coaster's can match that kind of power...

Nemesis has a total height difference of 131 feet, from highest point to lowest point, and a top speed of 50.8 mph. Ofcourse, a STRAIGHT drop of 131 feet would more than likely produce a speed of around 60 mph, but since Nemesis passes through several element's that sap away it's momentum along the ...

***** Not one coaster they have installed has been any bit "unique". Even Collossos is just a development of another ride, and their other 2 compromises of other coasters. They need to get some originality in their park, as their attempts are beggining to become rather laugable. ***** Not as laughab...

^ The park is really nice IMO, you can get lost quite easily though! Path's lead EVERYWHERE! :D There used to be a car garage where Colossos is now, it was pulled down some year's before Colossos came to be though!

I'm not sure, but I noticed it when I was there, the three Huss ride's near Colossos (I think they've been relocated from elstwhere in the park) are all plain white and green - it is'nt an "offensive" scheme, but it does get a bit boring, especially when their SLC and Corkscrew have white track too....

^ No no, they come with new chassis and wheel mount's now, MUCH smoother, not Nemesis Inferno smooth, but MUCH more enjoyable than the average joe 689m SLC (Traumatizer is one of the better one's), so Flamingo Land should have a nice ride on their hand's with Kumali (named after one of their lion's)...

*****Schwarzskopf have ceased to exist since 1995***** Well, kinda, I think his son keeps the company going, I think they make new train's for existing ride's and maintain old one's - not 100% on that though! Also, the 689 SLC is'nt trash - a park would'nt buy one if they were widely known as CRAP, ...

*****So being the same is good now?***** I did'nt say that did I? I said that the PARK'S came up with the design's, not Intamin, therefore if anyone is to blame about all these "samey" Intamin ride'spopping up, it's the park's themselves, like I said - Intamin ar'nt going to refuse business just bec...

*****yet nemesis is still prefferd to rita***** According to the AT website, on which their was a pool, Rita is ranked first in the poll, therefore, according to that source (which being the official AT website, is pretty difinative) Rita is the prefered coaster of two. http://www.altontowers.com/th...

^ Oh yeah, PACKED, six out of twenty eight, whopping. What I think is ace about the list is the two Maurer Sohne X CAR coaster's opening, that's GREAT, and again, I dont see ANYTHING as flexible as an X CAR in the B&M line up, B&M simply could'nt compete with that kind of innovation if maure...

One of the main issue's with the PMBO rough-ness is due to the wind, Blackpool suffer's from extremely high wind's, couple that with a stripped down mine train car that is only a chassis and a fibre glass shell - you have serious buffeting problem's, the wind resistance usually wont affect a large, ...

Expedition Ge Force - any day of the week, it absoloutly blow'sany ride in the UK and the USA that I've ridden out of the water, smooth, intense, insane and let's not even mess around with the amount of airtime - lot's - constantly, every hill and every drop, you simply cannot beat that kind of coas...

It's Intamin, they're betetr for park's since they are much more adventurous with their ride's, and will go to much greater lenght's when building a ride, they also have a more varied ride portfolio than B&M, and let's not forget their flat ride section. Also, as far as coaster experiences go: I...

Of the B&M ride's I've ridden. Inverted: Rode Katun this year, frigging rock's. Floorless: Kraken, immense fun. Dive Machine: Moot point, only ridden one. Sit-down (Includes Speed coasters): Apollo's Chariot BGW, supreme airtime for any B&M! Stand-up: Riddler's Revenge, great, and more comfo...

Thirst, the answer is yes, but it would require heavy work, and they would have to be in line's, they'd have to be added AFTER the four inline's, but before the last one, for example: Move the 180 degree turn back and have TWO barrell roll's before the brake run, do-able, but dificult and lame, sinc...

What I am saying is that DMP have not invested in the right places to be able to compete in the market it assumes it is already established I think it is quite obvious that the park has invested in the right areas, its still open - proof enough, people will only go to parks if they think it has eno...

Oh, Willscroft, dont get me wrong, I think AT is a very good park, one of the UK's best certainly, but that does'nt mean that people can automatically dismiss DMP as crap, or "no where near as goo" - obviously DMP is a succesful park, they didnt give in to the Towers financial might 11 years ago whe...
