Looking at latest photos the Marmaliser itself won't move at all. If anything it'll maybe just be some of the brushes rotating and swirly disks spinning and stuff. Don't get your hopes up for moving legs!

It's always been known that the Marmaliser wouldn't move itself.

Have to say it, this thing is looking exactly like the game... Wonder if that's just a coincidence?

Of course it's not a coincidence. The game designers didn't just happen to come up with a design for the game trains which turned out to be near identical to the actual trains.

Re: The Smiler - Construction Discussion

Seeing as there are going to be 4 trains on the track at any one time is it not possible the sensors are just to detect when a train passes over them to ensure all trains maintain a safe distance (by being dispatched appropriately)?

Today in the sanctuary one of the actors in the sitting room stood infront of me smiling singing that same song that was featured on the so called 'fan made' smiler advert, maybe just coincidence but maybe it's not :D

That video was definitely not fan made, no coincidence.

There's some great images coming forward today of construction. I do wonder if the reported "No Cameras Allowed" was a publicity stunt?

It was a light hearted comment. https://twitter.com/altontowers/status/ ... 4643462146

Hmmm, it would make it the world's first coaster to use nitrous oxide... but is it practically possible? Storage, expense etc.

According to Towers2Go, X-Sector is currently closed...

Could anyone on site shed any light on this, as I'm pretty sure they said it would be open?
