Re: London Underground Disccusion

Having been on all the lines apart from the Victoria, all I can say is Waterloo & City ftw! It is by far my favourite, it's basically the Tube in miniature. I've never once seen it busy even during weekday rush hour, and it's the line I use to get to Waterloo for Thorpe/Chessington. The Jubilee ...

Re: Universal Studios Japan 2014: 'Wizarding World of Harry Potter'

They reportedly planned a park for France in the 90s, but got frightened by the financial trouble of the then EuroDisney.

Re: New Cable-Car for London: "Emirates Air Line"

In Barcelona your looking at €9 for a cable car return!

The gondolas look so bland, if only they looked as nice as the support towers.

Re: Thorpe Park 2015 Coaster

But would a mega/hyper represent a good investment? Given that theme park marketing seems to focus on things like speed, inversion count or firsts, a mega would only be a UK first. I would have thought that Thorpe would want a star coaster to complement Swarm, and for me at least a mega wouldn't do ...

Re: Thorpe Park 2015 Coaster

In all honesty england will get massive parks probably after 2015. I dont see why just cos where small we can have massive parks. Height limits dont matter make the theme park in a massive trech and plus merlin is in with B&M so it looks like the UK will become like the USA theme parks. ;) What...

Re: Political Beliefs

In regards to drugs, I'm not sure what the "answer" should be. Personally I don't think they should be legalised, because they are dangerous. But then so is alcohol and most of us will have a drink at some point in the next week, and to be frankly honest the legal status of drugs doesn't c...

Gondolas in the Emirates Greenwich Peninsula Greenwich station, with TfL "quietly confident" this will be open at some point in July.

The cables are going up this weekend, a sign this will open ready for the Olympics?

Re: Future of the Dark Forest

As has been mentioned before, robot arms, while a nice idea, have a terrible capacity, and so many would have to be built to manage queues that they would be better off just buying something else, to save space and money. It's not implausible, Merlin already have installations at global Legolands, b...

Re: Thorpe Park 2015 Coaster

I think I may be correct in saying that this ride could potentially be taller than Swarm, after they swapped the maximum allowed heights over. But I agree with Jared, this topic is way too early.

Re: Car park improvements

You could just remember where you parked though ;) Alternatively, use the Alton Towers app, it has a built in car locater. A few more additions in the car parks themselves wouldn't go amiss, but aside from splitting things into slightly smaller sections there isn't much they can do without over comp...

Re: UK General Election 2010

I would have voted Conservative if I were old enough, but don't know if I would now. Thing is though, Labour and the Lib Dems don't do it for me either which leaves me little meaningful choice.
