Re: The Future Of Scarefest

It isn't looking good. Only operating scarefest on weekends... What are they thinking? Yes it wasn't as busy this year in the week, but I'm sure it would of improved fot next year. There were enough people around park. I won't be attending next year, not a single chance. Will be way too busy. I'm no...

Re: Alton Towers - General Discussion

If alton think I'm going to scarefest on a weekend they are out of their minds.

always go early in the week. It's going to be chaos now, absolute chaos. Be lucky if you get on 3 rides all day. And as for the mazes , good luck

won't be going this year.

Re: SW8

Ok. I have family members who work within the uk theme park industry, and they know and I know exactly what sw8 will be and where. I cannot disclose anymore than that I'm afraid. :) I would detail my source more but I simply can't. You probably won't believe me but most merlin employees in manageme...

Re: Ride Closures/Removals in 2016

After Many, many visits to alton towers. I had never rode on ripsaw, until October just gone. Glad I finally did when I did the chance, I really enjoyed it. This is not good for towers unless they plan on adding some very solid attractions for 2016. Otherwise it will probably be a thorpe park visit ...

What an absolute buffoon!

Using the queue time data from ridetimes, I made a graph showing the approximate busyness of each day during Scarefest. Your observations seem to be inline with what I found below.

Interesting. Would be cool to compare last year to this graph.

Re: Alton Towers - General Discussion

I'd say apart from weekends it was a very quiet. Was there Tuesday 20th Oct was fairly quiet all rides walk on. 5 min queue for thirteen at various points throughout the day but that was all. And on the Wednesday it was a bit more busy. Weather wasn't great but there were definitley more people arou...

Re: 2015 Scarefest

Thanks for the review of Operation Lockdown.

Definitley sounds something different and fun.

I would consider it next year although it is quite pricey.

Re: 2015 Scarefest

Definitley. I wish I took even more time now. That annoys me. I don't want people to get a more tame experience as a result of complaints when you know what you're going into. My girlfriend got her earring ripped out when an actor put his finger in her ears and pulled away. Obviously unintentional, ...

Re: 2015 Scarefest

Had a great 2 days there just got back. Terror of the towers: Solid maze as usual. Great atmosphere, lighting. Really fun. Molly crowe: (Did this first just as it was getting dark) Brilliant first impressions. The Queue line, soundtrack, the tunnel walkway, The introduction by the fine actor. Then s...

Re: 2015 Scarefest

Really looking forward to Tuesday and Wednesday!!

The mazes sound amazing this year.

Is it possible to buy a ticket for a single maze again?

Like on the day if I want to go back in sub species say Wednesday for another turn? instead of paying £20 for all 3

Re: 2015 Scarefest

I hope im not in a group with 12 year olds and kiddies

I don't want my maze experience toned down by the actor's because of that.

Won't be pleased otherwise
