Re: The Merlin Annual Pass

Is that if you renewed online they will be sending these out in the post? Because I have done this but my confirmation email says nothing about the packs or when they will be received. I believe that you will receive your pack if you have activated your pass. When I activated mine I was given a let...

Re: The Merlin Annual Pass

Has anyone received their premium privilege pack yet? They said they'd deliver them in time for FHT, and yes, I know it's still a week a way, but was just wondering! I'm going t'Alton on the 16th so I hope to have it by then! Merlin have said on their Annual Pass and Membership Facebook page that p...

According to the leaflet I got when I renewed my premium pass, the pack will be sent, presumably by post in time for February half term :)

All I got was a confirmation email, nothing else..... that's why I'm wondering now

Re: The Merlin Annual Pass

I think I may of misread what someone said earlier, so I'm just double checking. I have ordered my premium pass, but the extras like fast track etc, do we receive that and the other perks at the park when we pick up the pass? I thought I read somewhere that that comes in the post, but I didn't get c...

Re: The Merlin Annual Pass

Question  I am planning on renewing in the sale, but I might as well ask this just to confirm what I think. Can you use tesco clubcard vouchers to renew in anyway?  I assume you cant. Can you use tesco clubcard vouchers to buy the premium pass? As I only remember seeing it for a stan...

Re: The Smiler - Construction Discussion

Been reading the construction forum for a while now and this is my first post!,  for some reason I have it in my head that the first lift hill will have an inline twist half way up it! giving us 15 inversions! I doubt that would happen as it would be impossible? Only possible way would be with...

Re: The Smiler - Speculation

I'm sure it will be lapbars because they are making a new thrilling ride and other parks are getting lapbars and I'm sure Alton / Merlin want to stay in the game with thrills

Re: Hows does Oblivion compare with Rita?

I hate Rita. Oblivion all the way!! Remember though oblivion is built to look and be scary so the first time you will be scared but by far is a ride you must try at least once!

Re: The Smiler - Construction Discussion

I don't think much more will happen untill closed season, maybe the general landscaping and concrete but that's about it, the coaster itself will go up pretty quick.. It's just a pain that we won't be able to see what's going on in closed season.

Re: The Smiler - Speculation

i think the closest it could get to be anything like swarm and saw would be, saw style trains, but floor less, and as for new style, lap bar restraints.

but i don't believe Alton would be telling any of its staff any information yet, and if they did it would be nonsense.

Re: The Smiler - Construction Discussion

I'm surprised at how slow things are progressing, it's as though there waiting for something! i had noticed that too, the amount of groundwork that could have been done by now, excavations/station prep/footer prep, i agree, what are they waiting for? waiting so they can rush it at the end?  :?...

Re: The Smiler - Speculation

I still think they have got a bit of time before they could start with the actors, maybe bring them in as a few supports start to appear etc, i think the closer to the end of the season, well say a couple months before would be when the advertising starts to pick up and a storyline starts to appear,...

Re: Thorpe Park 2015 Coaster

Maybe a 4D coaster, or would that be too similar to Swarm? Or something like Th13teen, but with inversions and a bigger drop?

I think their next ride will have inversions and be lapbar.

I do agree though that they could do with a family thrill or woodie.
