Re: UK's Best Water Ride?

Hydro/Drenched has to be the best really, but I would imagine the lack of Oakwood visits will play a part in the votes.

Re: Lightwater Valley: 2013 developments

I think I would have liked to see them keep a bit of space free for some touring caravan pitches. Touring caravans in the UK is UP big time, so it would be ideal for somewhere like Lightwater to latch on to the boom. PLus caravanning in Yorkshire is already popular.

Re: Etnaland 2013: "The Storm" Mack Coaster

To be fair, the layout of this is mega-lite-y.

Just a bit! They even copied Intamin with the overly excessive crest to the lift hill.

Re: Etnaland 2013: "The Storm" Mack Coaster

This ride looks win! As for the park it seems a bit strange  It seems to have an abundance of water rides, and is now building two coasters for next year. This, and something else from S&S. I'm guessing it's one of those parks which is transforming from just a waterpark to a theme and wate...

Re: Lightwater Valley: 2013 developments

So would Trauma tower be relocated, and that area become completely closed off from the park?

Re: Lightwater Valley: 2013 developments

Nothing wrong with caravans, they're fab!

But lodges would suit the Lightwater location better.

So is this proposal going down that bottom end of the park? Caterpillar/Trauma Tower etc?

Re: Etnaland 2013: "The Storm" Mack Coaster

I wasn't expecting it to go up just yet! This is early for a 2013 coaster.

They're building a complete park remember, so they've got quite a lot to do.

Re: Walygator: Shocking photos... of a dying park?

Why is it the reason the park has failed? Are we all assuming that spent sh!t loads of money on it? If so, why are we assuming that? Didn't it come from a park that had closed down? (could be noticing a pattern with this ride maybe? ;) ) For that reason alone they could have got it for peanuts, like...

Re: Walygator: Shocking photos... of a dying park?

Whats going on with the Space Shot in them photo's, is it being removed, or is all that fancy queue line thing new? If this park does close (I hope it doesn.t), I wouldn't be too surprised to see Monster relocate just down the road at Holiday Park. That park is going through a transitional period an...

Re: Lightwater Valley: 2012 discussion

Pleasure Island is already home to a Pirate Ship.

Also, I love this bit of the article from VM:

At the time of writing, we are unable to disclose the name of The Wave's new owner

Their little way of saying "we know, and you dont"...

Re: Flamingo Land 2012

Because they added Kumali, Velocity and Mumbo with in a few years, some idiots now expect a new big coaster every year!

They added a solid kiddie coaster last year, and this year their bringing a completely new ride experience to the UK, yet a lot of people are saying that its going down hill?

Re: Disneyland Paris gets $250m for WDS Expansion

Pizza Planet was good, but since they turned it into an over priced all you can eat buffet, its been rubbish and unpopular.

The Pizza-Burger they used to do in there was actual heaven!
