Re: Quick Questions

Apologies if this has been asked already, but is the Emperors Grill open in ATH at the moment?

Re: The Smiler - Construction Discussion

I've really enjoyed the build up to this - it has been, with risk of sounding cliche, an utter roller coaster! Since the opening date was announced as May I booked this weekend at the hotel, and thank god I did! No doubt the coaster will experience bouts of down time, but I'm now hopeful that I will...

Re: Wardley's autobiography published

Yep, been reading mine today and I've been well impressed. I intend to leave a glowing review on Amazon. As for issues with the book, there's nothing wrong with it. Formatting is fine, it's laid out how a book is supposed to be laid out (yes a book, it's like a stack of paper with printed words tha...

Re: Wardley's autobiography published

It pains me to say it, but I'm disappointed by the book so far. It's printed by Amazon createspace by the look of things, and unfortunately it shows. The cover image has been uploaded in a small resolution so as a result the cover is appalling. The back cover is fine, so I'm not sure what they did ...

Re: The Smiler- Mobile Game Application

Not a bad little game but very hard - I've managed to unlock everything but so far only had 15 smiling riders and a score of 12216 - pushing for 100%!

And it confirms a corkscrew in to the brake run. That's at least 11 inversions now. Woop.

Re: Chessington 2013 Closed Season Updates

Posting for the first time in a year to express my excitement for Chessie this year. I think people are overlooking Zufari with SW7 also on the horizon. I'm hoping for something similar to the ride at Animal Kingdom, just on a much smaller scale. I didn't visit in 2012, but when I went in 2011 the p...

Re: SPOILERS - 2012: Nemesis Sub-Terra...

This is how I see events unfolding going by what little we know and the concept art in the sun today: We are taken down a fake lift while being told we're privileged enough to see a mysterious egg recently unearthed on the site. We're strapped in to the seats for ours and the eggs protection. Sudden...

Re: Drayton Manor 2012 Season

No real loss there for me. It was a dreadful ride and was far worse than the Jungle Cruise rip off it replaced! Good riddance I reckon - look forward to the inevitable splash battle or something of the sort that replaces it

Re: Thorpe Park 2012: The Swarm

IMO The Swarm is the best ride at TP - for me the plane wing near miss wasn't particularly effective, you don't see it coming so it you only know about it once its been and gone. I find it strange that the seats haven't been embiggened (thanks, Simpsons) since reports of a lot of people on Raptor no...

Re: The Merlin Annual Pass

I'd like to ask something as the T&C's have now vanished regarding this offer:

Was the offer available to order online and pick up at the chosen attraction at a later date?
