Re: The 'How busy will it be?' Topic

How busy will it be on Friday? I would say it could be busy as some schools are finishing this Thursday so it could potentially be busy. Plus if some schools haven't broken up, then I suspect there could be some school trips on that day but I could be wrong. I've just ordered my Silver Fastrack onl...

Just received an email from The Sun regarding my Alto Towers tickets - Roll on April 11th! Should be pretty quiet surely?

Re: Ride you have queued up for the longest is?

I waited around 2 and 1/2 hours for Air a couple of weeks after it first opened then Q'd just over 3 for The Smiler. It was well worth it on both occasions though

Re: Submission to be removed

I really wasn't a fan of Submission (Being a Male I found it to be very painful!) but I'm sad to see it leave X-Sector. I'd love AT to replace it with a new version of The Sanctuary to support the theme of The Smiler

Re: The Smiler over closed season 13/14

Has anyone heard anything regarding AT making the indoor section more like the advert with the lighting etc over closed season? No reports mate :/ That's a shame! The inversion during the indoor section is probably my favourite of the ride as it is unexpected and very disorientating. The sensation ...

No reverse free-fall. The 2nd World's First Element will be found in the indoor section of The Smiler

Re: The Smiler - Speculation

My problem with the reverse free fall on the lift hill is that I don't believe that it would add much to the overall ride experience. As mentioned before in this thread the feature's not technically a world's either.

I received my free Sun tickets in the post this morning for Sunday 16th June. I don't think I've ever been to AT on a Sunday, how busy should I expect it to be?

If Alton Towers manage to absolutely nail the theming of this ride then I think it might well be the best coaster in the world! I'M SO EXCITED
